Glad you think so! :^O looks like it would give me chance to learn how to handle the beast! The linen liner was too big to handle easily and each seam seemed to go on for miles! 😐

Ordered! My first knitting attempt was that effing coat Maggie so I'm sure I can handle a chicken! Plus I can go and buy fat quarters! I need to go back to Sturminster Newton!

Well has it arrived yet huggles ................bet she's trying it out for bouncability as we speak ]:);-)

Off to take the girls for their pampering day in a bit ,apparently they are having manicures ,pedicures and hair done and also having their feet nibbled by fish (OMG they're only littlies ,think they grow up too quick)

Mattress is here. Doesn't fit the bed! The old kingsize one was too small, this one is superking and too big! We now think the lovely old brass bed we bought in an antiques shop for a steal is a strange size! Off to buy a new superking bed to go with the mattress! Don't suppose I could sew a mattress to the right size and stuff it from the superking? No, OK. 😐

As you can imagine I'm not terribly popular as I ordered it when he was away and didn't measure. Can't even get him back 'on side' as we don't have a bed.:|

O**ck** I had to get 4! mattress too for some more space in the bedroom - like I said 2 of his mates got the same one.  Not fab quality BUT they went to the local joiner and he cut them ply pieces to fit over base.

It's great I've slept on it.  I'll see if I can find details in case you don't get the auction one.

Huggles - yours would have been a 'posh' bed in its day - made to measure the room - you'll have to do the ssme with the mattress.  Do you not have a spare bed you could move in for a while and return the other to Debs?  Oops forgot about the bed kicker.

Hello we bought a new bed and its lovely! Reduced from two and a half thousand to 700 because its scratched but the duvet will cover it. Off to look at cars now because I can't park the Freelander. Falling out with OH because I want a black Clio and he says colour doesn't matter! 😮

My son has a black car and he washed it here a couple of weeks ago. When he'd put the polish on he asked me for a couple of dusters.  Unfortunately I gave him two that I'd washed with the dog blankets the day before.  His black car was covered in short white hairs!!:^O

Of course car colour matters huggles but I agree with Maggie I had a black peugeot xsi and it showed every speck of dirt and constantly needed waxing and polishing.

By the way them little nibbling fish must'nt half tickle cos the girls giggled their little heads off the entire time that their feet where in the tanks.
