we never built anything for bradley as that was "his thing"

he has always wanted to build things when he grows up hence the civil engineering

we got him bionicles, he made them into something else 😐

so a box of bits was right up his street!

We used to say that the best gift he could ever get would be a pile of 'bits', a ball of string, a roll of gaffa tape and blinkers for me:^O

Morning all.

Definately cooler here but still very pleasant.

I became a Nana at 26 when I met Mr Stan but also a biological Nain at 35 when my own daughter had a baby.

So think I was a grandparent before most peeps had their own kids 😮

Wouldn't change it for the world though.

Short working day today as we are back off to Walton hospital with Miss S this afternoon to meet with the specialists and get more test results.

I feel like the mean mummy:|

Every time I walk in the dining room, Bella starts dancing about and tapping on the glass, I know what she's after.

Locusts:|

She's got freshly washed, shredded veggies and blueberries but Ohhhh Noooo, she wants hoppers:|

Well she ain't getting em till lunchtime:-)

Mick says she's just trying her luck and to ignore her antics and persevere with the fruit and veggies cuz she does need them:-)

She'd rather have flippin hoppers tho:^O

Morning ladies. 😄

Hope everything goes well at the hospital stan.

Lottie's  back from the vet's.  Her leg is good, he even had to refer to his computer to see which leg had the op!  She has to go back again in 6 weeks, no running until then!  She lost a bit less this time. She started out at 12.8, then 12.3, then 11.8 (which is .5 each time) and this time 11.4 (only .4) and he wants her to get down to 10kg!!!:O  :_|

The only thing with having your children later and then them having children later is you don't get to be a grandparent for very long, and you're too knackered to play with them.  I first became a grandma at 54 and could look after him all day, no probs, but with the last one who is now three, an afternoon is long enough, even though she's very good.

Glad Lottie is doing so well CG and she is still losing the weight if (a little bit slower) so I wouldn't be too worried.

😮 No knitting huggles................you'll be getting withdrawl symptoms :^O

Morning all. Hotter than ever here. Well over 100 in the greenhouse earlier! 😮 Rain is now expected on Friday apparently. I have a bag to finish today so will be inside in the cool.

Haven't had time to. It's been a really silly busy time. I like socialising but I'm dreaming of a quiet week! Won't be this week though, Guns n Roses Thursday, Jubilee Dinner Friday, BBQ at a friend's Sunday, Maybe another Jubilee party Sunday evening if we can escape the lunchtime one in time & surprise dinner out for my friend on Monday. Sleep Tuesday.

Yes you are! It's too much though and I feel bad not looking forward to things because it's all a rush. Plus I have a washing basket the size of Everest & we need half the stuff washed and ironed to wear again.

I  find if you are always thinking about the next thing on the list you don't enjoy what you are actually supposed to be doing at that given time.

Get everyone else to help out , I would be lost at work, pub and home if we didn't all muck in
