24-01-2012 9:59 AM
can you "unpick" some of it to give you some room to get it on and then stitch once it is back on?
24-01-2012 10:02 AM
Theres plenty of seam allowence.... its getting the fabric onto the frame thats the problem ...thinking i may need some stiffener on the back of it

Morning
Would agree about needing something to stiffen your fabric PCC.
I would never attempt lampshades, but I don't have your talent 😉
Need some advice.
Have made this funky little tea sosy as a gift. Like the idea of the pot having it's own little Aran sweater 😄
It needs some buttons. They don't actually fasten, just for decoration.
I have 3 large buttons, but not sure they look right. Have wooden toggles (but only 2) or should I wait and try and find those buttons that look like leather?
24-01-2012 10:19 AM
:-Dhow fab are those!
i like the wooden toggles
but leather butons do look good on arran
24-01-2012 10:21 AM
Wow now thats talent i couldnt ever knit anything , the toggles will lokk fab .
24-01-2012 10:25 AM
Actually PCC it's quite simple.
I specialise in simple things that look effective 😉
I like the toggle too, but I only have 2, which won't be enough.
Have a huge box of buttons and can't believe I don't have anything suitable 😮
