Glad you had a nice evening Numpts. Taking Damsom to kennels shortly. She will be there until Sunday week! 😞 We have an early start tomorrow & half eight today is the only time I could get her a lift as I have no car.

Some of my cold germs seem to have been chased away by the Sloe Gin. Fingers crossed.

if i cleared out our loft we would need a dozen skips

i could put wheels on them and they could just drift down to you:^O

maybe better build a wall to stop them before they splash into the sea

I'll take Mum shopping while the boys do the grubby stuff then I'll start emptying cupboards & cleaning them. I'll have spring cleaned before February. 😄

Better hide my wool stash better tonight while everyone is out. 😐

She has gone on holiday. I packed her two bags. One with food & one with coats, toys & bed.:-D She seemed happy to go in. They let her run around the field every day which she loves.:-D

for a long time i kept thinking, must get spare bulbs for sewing maching

of course i forgot

mines has just gone:-(

how specialized are they?

do i need a sewing machine shop or will a hardware shop have them? our local one seems to have hundreds of kinds of bulbs

Take it with you & see if they have one the same. There are so many different sizes & fittings out there. They might have one. If not you will have to get one on line. Just use an anglepoise type lamp at the back of the maching until you get a replacement.:-)

a friend gave me "some stuff"

i dont know what it is but i LOVE it

its a big long strip rolled up, very decorative, lovely colours (for me) maybe something used in irish dancing dresses? i dunno

every so often i get it out, look at it

and put it back:_|

i want to use it, but dont know what for

today i got out a box and found lots of samples of fabrics

so i picked out colours i thought would go with "the strip" as i was thinking patchwork cushion cover

it still doesnt go:-(

as a side note, i also found a monopoly themed pillow case i started for Bradley, told you he was a fan!:^O

i forgot all about it

i have too many boxes!

Merlin im shocked i never thought you would hoard anything , you are getting like a quilter we keep fabric & take it out every so often , stroke it then put it back :^O

Off to get ready for hospital gym , its exercise for me lungs not me body theres no point in that 😄

I am happy 🙂 I am just back from my annual MOT the practise nurse managed to actually get my blood this time so no trip to pathology needed as is the norm, No bruise & on top of all that .............. I have lost half a stone (not that you can tell :^O)  without even trying  😮

Wow that's good CK, especially after Christmas. I want to lose about 10 pounds but I'm quite specific about which 10 pounds & that doesn't seem to work. 😞

blooming cold today,

Windy here but not too bad. Just walked up the Boots to get some cold capsules. Feeling better today though. Pretty much packed for my holiday.:-)

we had a bit of snow and lots of rain today

very cold outside, but i must be doing too much, i'm in short sleeves as always and roasting despite the door being wide open!

sat down with some cheddars and iced water, lovely!

i'm bad enough packing normally without sewing stuff as well:O

i'd want to take it ALL:^O

There is another machine, two bags of provisions & three clothes bags as well as this lot! 😮 We will have to pack creatively! :^O

Maggie I thought it was a weeks holiday not a month with all that luggage 😮

And won't there be even more stuff on the return journey what with all the new goodies you will of made :^O
