It's a bit quiet on here tonight.:O I've just been to the college for a three course meal, some parts were good and some not so good.
There were very tasty canapes, about 4 or five different kinds. Then I had chicken, ginger and lemongrass soup, it tasted ok, couldn't taste any ginger, but it wasn't very hot. Then I had assiette of lamb, which was very tasty but came with chocolate jus :_| which was just like melted chocolate. I like chocolate but not on my dinner! With the lamb I had new potatoes, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower and french beans. The lamb was very nice (apart from the chocolate) and the vegetables were just a little too undercooked for my liking. For pudding I had one of those chocolate sponge puddings with the runny inside (can't remember what it's called) with ice cream and poached pear dipped in chocolate. That was £15 which wasn't bad. The whole lot could have been a bit hotter though. The waiters and waitresses were very good but perhaps a little too eager as we felt a bit rushed. They started taking the empty coffee cups away whilst some of us were still drinking.:-( I think, by the look of some of them, it was getting past their bedtime. It was 9.30!:^O All in all an interesting evening.:-D
I've never seen either of those, what sort of thing are they?
I would watch the first two, I used to watch Quincy many years ago, but you can keep the vampire one thank you!:^O

There's no need to over do it you know, some of us have to wake up first, ...............all this talk of breakfast outside and i..ning, ..........think I might have a sit down in front of the Aga, zzzzzzzzzzzz:-)
