OH likes red wine, and guinness
i dont object to anyone else drinking and we keep it in for if anyone comes, its just not for me

Same thing happened to hubby, merlin.  It was the Christmas party at his first ever job, he was 16.  It was a free bar so of course he made the most of it.  He said he felt so ill the next day, in the forty five years I've known him, the most he's ever drunk is a beer shandy!!:^O

I started off very slowly, a sweet Martini about once a year and gradually built up from there!B-)

Busy busy here - catching up on household tasks and also making stuff for a local shop 🙂 Half 1/2 the dolls I want for there finished - just a few more to go 🙂

Hubby is the same, got drunk at 18 at a beer keller, never again, but he will stretch to 2 bitter shandy's if he goes out, which isnt often.

CG - just been so busy. With all the stall stuff I got behind with my house and its needed lots of attention. Apart from making for the shop, i've also loads of birthdays coming up and need to get things sorted for those.

TBH once you get out of posting for a few days its hard to get back to finding time for it :8}

Tell me about it - that woman at Endeavour House really pishes me off.

Plus how can JoePublic run a library?? It takes a minimum of 3 years of training for a proper Librarian.

I get so angry at all this AND then they IMO waste all this money on this census. I can understand a general headcount but not the £1,000,000's it is costing.

Just looked it up - its costing £500 million - what a lot of hospitals, schools, forces jobs, libraries that would pay for X-(
