every morning i lie in bed with my coffee, watching the tree outside my window, all winter its had 3 leaves, 3 leaves that have annoyed me, i just wished they would blow away

this morning its windy, i watched the big branches blowing about, and willed those 3 wee leaves to hold on

they're still there!!:-D

and so is the rain!

Very cold here, my puddle outside is getting bigger as its not soaking in as fast, but at least it's not running any faster. 🙂

We've been playing shops this morning with g/son as the shop keeper, I'm glad its only play money 😞 his prices are high enough to make the cabbage curl :^O

Maggie Its a bust waterpipe on our drive, but its been running slow enough to cross the drive and soak into the garden, not to cause a big puddle, but we need to do a small detour or jump to get to the front door, the YW men will be out on the 9th or 10th (dates fail me ) to have a look. 🙂

G/son has now gone home and the toys packed up 🙂

The light is dissapearing so wont get any sewing done today. 😐

It looks like its been quiet in here today, i guess everyone must be busy. 🙂

I have been trying to get my vacuum cleaner to work but it wont. It cut out while I was using it earlier.:-(

I reported a drop in water pressure here on New Years Eve & the man was here at 9.15 today to test it.:-)

Afternoon

We've had quite a decent day here - even a glimpse of sunshine this afternoon.  Shame it was cloudy this morning I'd have loved to see the partial eclipse 😞

Doing lots of back-to-school stuff today as well as getting house back to normal.

PLanning on a major declutter over the next few weeks/months - all cupboards emptied and only useful stuff will go back!

Havn't there been any reported leeks in the area as i'm sure this can have an effect

I will be getting the needles out later, I want to knit some more wrist warmers, I've just bought some lovely soft snowflake wool to do them with, I have a couple of doggy snoods ordered as well, so I suppose I should do those first.
