I've got a basketfull of apples that are starting to get past their best, if I don't do them today they'll be too far gone.:| Hubby has to go and get two teeth out later, so we'll be eating soup, well, he will, there's a nice bit of fillet steak in the fridge that I've got my eye on.;-) Then I'll continue with the snail I started last night.
I'll probably just stew the apples and put them in the feezer. He wouldn't touch steak with a bargepole maggie! or lamb or pork. The only meat he'll eat is chicken.............boring. I often sit and eat a plate of some sort of meat and he eats pasta.:|
Hubby needs whiskey, not that he ever drinks anything stronger than shandy!:^O He had a bad time at the dentist:-( He had an infection under his tooth two or three weeks ago and duly took the anti biotics. Apparently the reason they can't take the teeth out at the time is not because the infection could spread, as I thought, but because the anaesthetic won't work if you're taking the anti Bs. Anyway, the anaesthetic (4 injections) didn't work and he had the two teeth out and he said he was in agony. He said he nearly fainted, and he's not a whimp, he has fillings with no injections and gets back to work. He said they had a job to stop the bleeding, it was pouring! He says it's still not numb at all. I'll put the soup on hold.
