That Old Fashioned High Street prog on at nine was filmed in the town my daughter lives in. Shepton Mallet. I think her & Amy were caught on film so I will be sitting glued to it later.:^O

Yes I watched it too.  The things they used to put into bread.:O  I remember sawdust on the floors of shops and pigs heads in the windows. No! it wasn't the 19th century, they still had those things in the 50s and 60s!X-(

I know i couldn't believe it, but i felt better when they said they would only put rice in to bulk it out 🙂

Is jealous of Gems cos she's younger than me & she's a Grandma  X-(

We still have MIL here, she doesn't want to go home to a empty house ............ we've had a lot of tears today/this evening as she's very confused  atm ...... its so sad to see her & I'm at a bit of a loss what to say 😞
She goes into her care home on Sat but keeps forgetting.

Aww i feel for you, would she be able to stay with you and go straight into her new home from yours, or would that not be such a good idea

No, she needs to go home on Thursday as she only has enough tablets with her till then, her chemist delivers them weekly on a thursday teatime.
Also her other Son & SIL who have arranged everything are going to help her pack a few things on Friday.
 Poor them ...... they have spent all this week sewing name tags into her clothes for her.

Have you got a brochure of the home where your mil will be staying, mabe if its left out for her to see, it could serve as a reminder.

name tags lol remembers doing that, uncle still ends up with other peoples stuff, dad said the other day he has no idea whos trousers they were that my uncle was wearing. 😐
