Yes I did mags, but it was just a freebie that I found on google.  If I do it again I'll make it a bit bigger and in a plain fabric.

I made some Millies cookies yesterday and intend to make some more very soon.:-D

I'm no good at applique, my hand isn't steady enough (or my eyes!):-(

Choccy ...... No I'm not proud of him, I think he's totally irresponsible going back so soon, I can appreciate he is worried he misses too many lectures but on the other hand I really think another reason is  a Halloween Party he wants to go too X-(
I really think he should stay home untill this time next week when he's had his stiches removed ........... he's had part of his collarbone removed, he needs to give it at least a few days to start healing.
Will he listen NO!!!!!

Was it Towery who asked if his surgeon knew he was in ICU? ............... No he didn't, not untill lunchtime the next day.

CG, I love Tibbles & I love him in that fabric 😄

Any chance of the link to the pattern CG?

CK - I agree about your son. I would want him to stay at home until he has his stitches out too. It's a mother thing I think 😉

Merlin, if you're about, can I ask something please?

Was thinking of taking some Merlingoo for my daughter, but she has been told only to use non biological soap to wash the baby's things (the latest fad i think)

Would Merlingoo be classed as non - bio?
Not sure about the ingredients of Borax?

Awwww how cute :-x

Love the cat too 🙂

Kids think they're invincible at that age but from ICU to back at uni in a few days, bit daft I reckon too, his bodies taken a bit of a hammering whether he likes it or not !!

Fed up with ebay messing around, it's hard enough to keep up with this thread without them not even taking me back to the right page, never mind right post....they have made such a mess of it all 😞

yes learning she can use it
borax is water-soluble mineral with antiseptic, antibacterial, water-softening, and whitening properties. Makes mild soap more effective, so it can be used on newborn baby clothes, its one of the reasons i started to use it, Lolly had eczema and i needed something very mild but effective, my mum started to use it as we soon found out even holding her against her clothes(washed in something else) would start an outbreak, changing her washing powder for this stopped it
