Ed - your cards are fabulous, I certainly wouldn't call them fussy. Different folks, different styles as we all prefer different techniques.

True enough Stroppy, I made a couple for a friend for her daughter, I thought she would pick the simple one as she is very minamalist and blow me if she didn't pick the fussy one, well I never.

I agree, you choose to buy a card (or anything else) depending on what you think the recipient would like. Some like plain and some like fancy.
I just made another cardi for the neighbour's granddaughter. She's due any day now.

A Numpty in need.....
I ordered a few items for holiday, opened 1 package with scissors.... ahhhh gee whizzzz 😮
I cut right through one shirt - 2 little slits, what I need to know is what mending tape or ?? to use,
Cuts are around 1.5-2cm long and 1-1.5cm across front of shoulder 100% cotton patterned shirt little flowers.
All help gratefully received.

A photo might get a more sensible answer but all I can think of is ironing wonderweb onto the back, making sure the shirt fabric is just in the right place first OR is it in a suitable place to put a small badge or applique over it?
