I don't know what wood it is Maggie. The chap who brings it (he's a tree surgeon) only brings the more unusual ones or ones he knows have a nice grain. He tells us what they are, and hubby writes it on, but he doesn't know if these had the name on or not. He doesn't know it anyway!!
