Morning. Another lovely sunny day here. Going to have a sewing day after I have done a few little errands.

THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Hello 🙂

I rarely catch up with you guys, and this thread moves so fast! I hope everyone is ok! xx

My daughter is away this week - school skiing trip. So having a nice rest.

The pets I was looking after have gone home so I am deep cleaning the house to get rid of the stink!! Burning my fave yankee candles, setting up diffusers, letting the fresh air in 🙂

I have realised that getting involved in a network marketing company is not ideal for me at all.... but still sticking at it.

I need to change and this is a good way to do it. Plus I look 10 years younger already with the magic potions Woman Wink

I still feel so tired though.... when I had my blood tests done again after 3 months taking supplements, the results were told to me over the phone - with instructions to stop taking folic acid but continue with vitamin D.

I still feel exhausted so will see my gp again.

I had hoped keeping busy with selling would revitalise me, but it hasn't.

I feel bad moaning about it, as it is not a serious problem, but it gets me down. I can't remember what it is like to be energetic!

Anyway, I hope you are all enjoying the spring days we are having... xx

Gateshead Social Services and Health Authority are really **bleep**.
Just spent 14 hours with my FIL who has been admitted to hospital. Waited 5 hours for an ambulance, then couldn't leave him on the ward until midnight as there weren't enough staff to care for him. He will be out of there ASAP!

A couple of my latest makes. The irst is a placemat for a friend who has just adopted two hens & the poppies are for our local craft exhibition as we were all asked to make some. One is felt & the other fabric.

I love your makes Maggie.  They're lovely.  I don't think I'd have the patience to make something like that.

I could do the mat in a couple of days. One if I sat at it all day. They were pleased with the poppies. CG you have too many chooks to go on a place mat! lol

I'm now on the second sleeve on the cardigan that I'm knitting for Grace.  I know it sounds odd but the cardigan is to go with a dress that we've bought her for either Christmas or her birthday.  We've not decided yet.

Beautiful work Maggie, as ever.  I too especially like the placemat.

I've been doing some curtains - one lot for the utility room (tiny window) and another for George's study - although I cheated with the study and for the first time in living memory I bought curtains from N*** and just hemmed them, ironed them and stuck them up.  Very appealing, Lord knows how I ever managed to work at it, let alone make all the curtains for all the houses I have over the years.  Took a couple of photos but can't get them to upload.

The 'other' thread will drop off the page shortly - but thanks for, well, everything heart

Thank you for the kind comments. The poppies are pin/brooch size & will be sold for the Royal british Legion at our crafy exhibition in June. We have all made some. Not making any more though as they are a fiddle! lol

They'll make a pretty penny for the legion especially if they're all as good as yours

oh Maggie that place mat is divine! I would frame it myself to keep it nice. True, your makes are lovely, I wish I was so clever.

I would love a machine that could do the edges just like applique you see in the shops, I can only do zig zag on my machine.
