Afternoon all.  Love the jumper Stroppy.  Your granddaughter will look lovely in that.  

I've been out for lunch today with a friends.  Had a lovely time and a good girly chat.

The weather here is a bit on the cool side but we have cloud nearby.  I sort of feel that winter isn't too far away.  I hope that I wrong.  If it carries on, I think that the thicker jumpers will be coming out.

Hope that everyone is as well can be expected and hugs to those that need them.

I'm ready for that cuppa now thanks Chris.

It was so cold in the house today we got in the car and went the seaside....all of 10mins drive, and had chips for lunch, we were warmer in the car than the house!!

just had our showers ready for work tomorrow...nice and warm now....

I bet I nod off for a spell

Twishy hasn't been around much lately....mind you it's a wee bit quiet on here too at the moment....can you hear any sewing machines on the go? where is everyone??

Babysitting, knitting ... & a ridiculously slow computer that by the time I've done what I need to do on it ..... I give up

Thinking about Twishy though I think that she does have other things on her mind at the moment.

A slow computer is a pain CK.  How's Imogen?  I bet she's fast asleep.  That's just what I feel like doing at the moment.  I'm shattered but never mind.

She's only been asleep about 10mins actually but she'll probably sleep until about 8ish now, she wakes up just with long enough for her Daddy to get her up & give her her breakfast & then if I'm still asleep he pops her into bed with me  ........ where she pulls my hair & pokes & prods me in the face until I wake up 

I have her WELL trained

CK, you certainly do have Imogen trained well.    She's such a pleasant child.

I've not really looked at the weather properly yet apart from the fact that the car is covered in condensation - again.  Never mind.

CB my sewing machine has been working only repairs though nothing interesting

Tights! Not worn tights for over 15 years! Trousers & socks for me!

Me too, I have a drawer full of tights of different colours and thicknesses just in case, but haven't worn them for years.

Another one in the trousers and socks department.  Wish I could wear tights and skirts and nice shoes, even if just to go out, but those days are over now I'm afraid.

Always seems a bit of an effort to me, when you can just chuck on a pair of jeans, socks and boots. I can only wear flat shoes and as I am short I look rubbish in a skirt with my little legs poking out.

Normally i wear trs & socks but when i go out its a pencil skirt & fancy tights 🙂

.................back to some sewing i did ages ago , only just found the right frame for it !

Just as easy to pull on a pair of tights as trousers & socks! And a skirt of course.
