Captain it is the most amazing and wonderfully cuddly soft blankie that CK has made , the colours are beautiful but stoopid me didn't get a piccy today when I visited.

If CK doesn't have one she can show you I will take a photo next time I go to show you all what a very clever and talented woman she really is knit

CK does have one ........... but I'm sure it will look much nicer to see it wrapped around that gorgeous little girly heart

Morning all.  Hope that everyone slept well.  I managed about four hours.

I think that the sun is trying its best to come out here but how long that will last is anyone's guess.

Hugs to all that need them.

Morning all, bit peed off managed to lose my phone yesterday, someone obviously has it as they switched it off to avoid me ringing it. I've never heard my phone switched off. Luckily O2 have put a block on it so that they can no longer switch it on & access any of my info & also to block the Sim so that they can't run up any bills. A pain though as all of my diary, passwords (coded) & contact details are in there.

Then checked my online bank statement, money in there, so phoned to pay  the final balance for my holiday, only to be told that my card was declined, all this whilst I was looking at a healthy balance online, so I've now got to head out early today to go to the bank and see why.

So all in all not a happy bunny! Never mind, things could be a lot worse 🙂

Good morning. Smiley Happy

Sunny again here, but boy, aren't the evenings drawing in, it's dark by eight o'clock!  I brought the washing in about 7.30 last evening and although it had been hot and sunny all day, by 7.30 the washing was feeling damp again!

It's getting more autumnal, definitely, but at least this year we can't complain that we've had no summer!  Smiley Very Happy

Good morning ladies Smiley Very Happy

that sucks Gina

the banks can be a law unto themselves

any chance your card is blocked? any big purchases? could even be paying for the holiday

our bank does that to check, and then, i hate to say it, they send a recorded message to your mobile so you can phone and free the account once you verify its you

so maybe thats why?

hope you get your phone sorted

we have rain

little fine mad drizzly rain that blows about the moment there is a breeze

Morning all.

Pain about your phone Gina but as merlin says if the contact number the bank have for you is your mobile it could be why the payment was declined (as you have blocked it and cancelled sim )

Dry and sunny here and washing put out in the dark this morning ,so sadly shows how the days are drawing in already

Well popped into the bank as soon as it opened thhis morning, they checked the card and said there was no problem with it & plenty of money to cover the payment. I came straight into work, phoned the travel company with the same card & the payment went straight through no problem. The bank said it was probably a problem with the travel companys system rather than the card itself.

Also phoned my insurance company to sort out insurance for my phone, thought I was covered on that .........wrong! I didn't take out the seperate 'personal items' insurance & phones are covered by that. 😞

We're back from the hossie and all fine with Miss S but think her consultant could of done with a sit down after her visit.

Today S told him she is taking part in a charity walk to raise money for Macmillan nurses, well his face was a picture but he eventually gave in and said he wasn't in total agreement but as long as the walk was short, flat and she took plenty of breaks

She very cooly replied "OK it's 10 miles and over a mountain and quite rough ............ so should be fine then yeah"

Not sure wether to be really proud of her or a little annoyed, but as she pointed out if she didn't do all the things she's not supposed to she may as well take to her bed.

Right orf to put the tea on .................

Just the thought of being able to walk 10 miles makes me feel exhausted!

Good news - They have thrown me out of hospital. Got a whole cocktail of anti-biotics - better not move too much or I'll rattle! Nice to be back to my own bed.

She as stubborn as a mule and as strong willed as an ox and I understand her desire to be just like everyone else, just hard to watch sometimes when you see the pain and know what the consequences may be but she's her own person and its up to her how she deals with it  so all I can do is support her and for the rest well I'll just button it
