Morning all.  Hope that everyone slept well.  I had a reasonable night's sleep.  I've had better but I've also had worse.

It feels a bit cooler here this morning.  It's also overcast but there's no breeze about like there was yesterday.

Must go now 'cos I'm in a bit of a rush.

Hugs to all that need them.

I know how you feel CK, my daughter & her family decamped to Kent about 18 months ago. 1.5 hrs when theres no traffic (& there is never no traffic) but a good couple of hours on the train as we don't have a car (no point in London, excellent transport, no parking where we both work & traffic congestion). It was the difference between then living in a poky flat
In London or a house with garden for the same price. They're now having a different quality of life & when we do see them we make a good quality weekend of it rather than them 'just popping in'. Miss them being local though like mad

As some of you may know, Carol ( Rainydaywoman ), is going into hospital tomorrow for her stem cell harvest.

She is naturally feeling scared & worried, & gawd knows what other emotions.

She has asked me to pass on a wee message to you all...

" I don't know what I would have done these past months without all you great girls "

I know we will all be thinking about her tomorrow, & are sending our love & prayers.

If anyone has an address and could send me a message so that I can send a card it would be much appreciated. I probably have an address somewhere, but "him indoors" is already in a major grump and the less help I have to ask him for, the better.

Not feeling too great again, I rather think that consultant will not be happy about infection levels when I see him on Thurs. My temp is up again, and I ache everywhere. I'm fine if I lie perfectly still and don't try to do anything more energetic than breathing, but every movement is painful. I also have a nasty feeling that he's not going to be a happy chap when he sees my I.V. line - the skin all round it is a real mess, all blistered and weeping.

Have very little appetite and to be honest I'm struggling to eat anything - I can't even look at chocolate. To be able to eat anything, I have to really fancy it and I only seem to fancy wierd things like prawn and avocado salad at 3am!

Still got my Xmas card order to finish, but with a bit of luck that should get delivered next week and I will then have to do some shopping to replenish my stock of materials. I suppose I'd also better get busy on the "special" fiddly cards for close family - I'm planning a reindeer theme for cards for the grand children this year, it was Santa last year.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Even if she's not now, she soon will be CK, when we took my daughters cat in (her flat was compulsory purchased & she was re-housed in a high-rise) the dogs soon learnt to give him a wide-berth or get a bat on the nose.

I think thats can be the difference sometimes though CG, I see the littlies weekly if not daily so don't really notice them growing and changing yet when you look back at photo's the transformation from babies to young people is amazing.

Off to check out the new furry on CK's FB >>>>>>>>>>>>>>
