Good morning all. Someone stole my sunshine and replaced it with rotten rain 😞
Finished Mum's Hug Shawl last night, can't wait to take it up for her, hopefully next weekend. When she wears this, I will be able to Hug her every night 🙂 Was lovely to make, quite easy, and I just adapted it a little as the pattern had no collar, and I didn't like the finish row on the pattern, so made up my own :^O

Well surprise! surprise!......not only did I wake up to most gorgeous day, been outside for most of it 😄
But my phone rang and a little voice said "hello Nanny" It was my 11 year old Grandson Aaron, haven't seen him since last November..........an upset in the family :_|
Anyway, bless him, he asked if he could come and see me.................I, of course, said yes 😄
So sad when an upset in the family happens, I was there when Aaron was born and we've been so close every since, it was breaking my heart when I couldn't see him:_|
Anyway we've had a lovely time, chatting and catching up, cuddles, chocolate and fizzy drinks, of course!! and now he's happily playing on the play station. Such a happy day for us both all round :-x
