THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

CK - it's this one - chest is 20", sleeves are 8" from the shoulder.  I love this pattern and have knitted it dozens of times over the years.  Would it fit?  Think it was birth to 3 months size. I don't know where you get your patience from CK - I'd have lost it by now and I'm known for being a patient person!

Oooh Stan I am jealous - my son used to get a football magazine weekly and I always remember reading that the Portugese were the most passionate of European football fans.  It sounds like you had a great night.  It is another thing I want to do (go to Porto), after all my baby (Ronaldo) is Portugese (although born in Madeira), where I'd also love to go.  Heck, can't go everywhere. We went on holiday once to Portugal, oh, about 15 years ago, forget name of little village (friend has a house there still), was nice, about an hour from Faro airport, although all we did was eat and drink, naughty 😛  How is your wee daughter doing these days?  Any why were you packing, moving or just clearing AND finally, is it you who is doing the Moonwalk?

Yes, she is, although she will happily ask if she can leave her if she needs to go shopping to save taking her with her ...... of course I don't really mind because I get her to myself for a while 😉 :-x

That is lovely RDW, it won't fit her yet though but if you are sure then I am sure it would be most welcome, thank you very much  :-x

She really is the bonniest baby ck  🙂    I'll pop the wee jacket and hat in the mail, probably Monday though.  I'll try and find the pattern to send you a copy, it's easy, p3, sl1,  k1, psso, (I think) and it knits up quickly.

Morning all.  Believe it or not, we have some frost here this morning. :_|

Moosie and RDW, the little things you have knit are wonderful.  Must admit, when I've knit something, I hate the sewing up bit as well.  My mum's the same.

So sorry about your pains RDW.  I have a right pain in the neck at the moment as my spondylosis has been playing up all week.  Never mind, I suppose it will go eventually.  I hope so anyway.

Hugs to everyone.

Morning. I can't believe you haven't been allowed out with Imogen yet CK! And all those nights you have sat up with her! Well I'm paying the price for trying to cram a fortnights sun into six days and am peeling nicely and itching! Went out last night and caught up with a couple of girlfriends. Why is it that you can drink from dawn to later than dusk on holiday and wake up as fresh as a daisy but wake up with a headache at home after a few wines? Do they put poison in British drinks?

Morning. Spring has sprung here.:-) Going to Yeovil later to a quilt show. Just a local groups show but it is usually very good. I had better go & get dressed.:-D

Good beautiful morning all 🙂  Wow, can't believe the change in the weather all at once.

Mandymoosie, that dress is just gorgeous!  I wish I had the patience for knitting.

RDW, same for your little jacket and hat, really lovely, so dainty 🙂

I am busy making a Hug Shawl for my Mum now, it is a pretty shell pattern, but I am going to modify it a bit and add a small collar to it.

I went out and cleaned the downstairs windows yesterday, pushed myself a little too far and ended up really hurting last night, so am going to try to take it easy again today, hard to do with this lovely sunshine though.

Morning all.

Housework and pub all clean and sparkly and washing on the line, what a difference to my mood a little sun can bring.:-)

Huggles have you got some butter cream or aloe vera ?? I find it soothes plus stops the tan disappearing.

Morning ladies.  I made stacks of baby clothes when my grandchildren were expected, literally carrier bags full!!  It's nice looking at the baby photos now and seeing them wearing them.  My two outgrew theirs so quickly.  My son was 9lb 3oz when he was born and they were both 20lb at 12 weeks.:-(

Those gorgeous dainty baby clothes make my efforts look positively clumsy & clumpy :^O

I did buy some knitting needles the other day, as I have some wool that is impossible to crochet with, so am going to look for a nice easy pattern to use it up on 🙂

Lovely baby clothes, you are all so clever.

I've got my knitting needle out, but it's only a kittie blanket for Haworth - nothing fancy. I need to buy a couple more short cables for my interchangeable needles.

Beads are calling to me though, might put the knitting aside and do some mobile phone charms and bracelets for the shop at Haworth.

What a beautiful day it is today 😄 A wee bit chilly in the wind but at least the sun is shining brightly 😄

Went out for a short trip to doctors this morning and it was lovely to see all the blossom and Magnolia's starting to bloom 😄

Thank you so much for your nice compliments about the little dress 😄

RDW that's a gorgeous Matinee coat and hat 😄 I have done that pattern a million times too over the years, but I love it, quick to knit and looks so very pretty 😄

Beautiful baby Imogen :-x

Not sure what I'll get up to yet, probably more knitting, was hoping to sit outside for a while, but I'm finding the wind a bit too chilly really so may have to pass on that for today.

Love and hugs to all :-x
