helloooo oh boy why is it always me?

I was getting a pain in my calf and it's got a bit worse, so I rang the plaster clinic, now I have to go to the local A&E cos they think I may have a dvt!!!:_|

will have to wait until OH gets home so that's about 5.

if it's not one thing it's another....I'm only upset cos they'll take me lovely purple plaster cast off:-( and I may have only just pulled a muscleX-(

merc, stop putting that hand down, you should keep it up!!! oooh matron:-D

Can you get there earlier than five CB? DVT can be serious.:-(

What is dvt  is it the blood clot in a vein thing

Hello all, I agree CB that's not to be messed with, hope its not dvt. Just popped in to cheer you all up and tell you it's blinking freezing sand trying to rain! We are stoically sat by the pool shivering and drinking!

I hope she has gone, DVTs are not to be messed with.

I wonder what happens if you get cramp in your leg with a plaster on?  You can't bring your toes up to stretch the muscle can you? I get a lot of cramp, luckily I've never had a plaster.:|

!2 year old son broke his elbow recently and had a full arm plaster, he was sent home from school one day in absolute floods of tears ( he doesn't cry easily)

Hope's bovines ok and it is just a wee bit of cramp rather than DVT 😞

And merc1 you also need to be careful with that hand as we don't want you back in the hossie do we.

limps in with a new plaster on...and it's sludgy blue...they didn't have purple:_|

they've took some blood to see if it's a dvt, gave me two more injections in me belly and if the bloods show up a dvt I have to go back for a scan....

then...I'd have to go back every night for an injection...which I have been doing myself for the past fortnight. Seem this local hospital don't have a policy to let me take them home

gawd, me hoof hurts now, I've been prodded and poked and I just want me tea now:-(

Oh you poor thing and your poor hoof.  When do you get the blood test result back?

well they said if there isn't a queue they could ring me tonight as the A&E is open until 10pm, or it will be tomorrow up to midday.

I'm wondering now if it may be cramp? I've never had cramp so I don't know what it's like...HA! doctor never suggested it....hhhmmm
