Morning ladies. 😄
I bet you weren't using your zimmer frame were you Maggie?
Aw, poor Maggie,:-( It gives you a right shake up doesn't it. I slipped on a wet floor a few years back and was black and blue. When children do it they just jump up and carry on.
I bet when it gets really hot (30 degrees forecast on Wednesday) we'll all be complaining it's too hot!:^O

Morning all 🙂
I have nothing planned today, I may go into town 😄
we had a stupid 2 second power cut about half past 2 this morning, it reset everything, youngest son was still on his x box so he wasn't happy :^O but it set every single alarm off in the area, it was sooooooo noisey ...... 30 mins later ........ it only did it again X-(

That's sooo annoying isn't it. We've got battery back up in most things but always have to reset the clocks on the micro wave and the electric oven, and as you say, no sooner have you done it than it happens again!X-(

I have just been for a walk so not too achey. You wont find me saying it's too hot! 26 here today.:-)

My spare room is coming closer to being a sewing room now , today ive found & listed lots of quilting patterns .
Cant wait to get the room emptied so i can move my sewing machines in there

Two of our local charity shops have stopped taking paperbacks and only want new, up to date hardbacks....:-(
Apparently they can't sell them quickly enough and don't have the room to keep them....
I must admit I'm getting a bit tired of seeing the same Dan Brown books in the other shops....:|

They need to make them cheaper. Ours is asking £1 for a used paper back. If they were cheaper they would sell them. I would pay 50p but not £1.

Good idea. I am on the main road to Portland & often sell stuff from my front path! lol

Agh well some of his stuff is still in there but not for long , ive told him its got to be moved . Oh that sounded far more asertive than i really am :^O
Why do i get the feeling it will just clutter up another part of the house 😞
23-07-2012 8:30 PM
They used to sell them 3 for £1 and I would often come home with a few....:8}
I like to try new authors and my way of thinking is 'well if I don't like it I've lost nothing'
I've found some new favourites like that 🙂

I'd love a spare room .............. if I had one I could hide the two big carrier bags of wool I bought today 😐
I really shouldn't have wandered around town with time to kill :^O Well it was all reduced so I couldn't say no could I :8}
Only thing is I keep promising not to buy more & my cupboard & boxes are full + the hidey places behind the chair & sofa ......... if I shove anymore there they will both be in the middle of the room :^O
even I admit to having waaaaaay too much :_|
but it looks pretty :^O
OH hasn't spied it yet ....... I took him to the pub for tea :^O
but Son has 😐
I need to find a support group where I can sit in a circle & say .....
my name is Jan & I am adicted to buying wool :^O:8}

Good thinking Maggie :^O
& well done on all those hats 😮

I've just ordered some chunky wool to knit my grandson a jumper. It's dearer to knit one yourself than to buy one isn't it.:|
