ohh an English lesson coming up...

rules for pluralising words that end in Y

if the word ends in a consonant and a y   drop the y and add ies

fly becomes flies

cry becomes flies

lady becomes ladies

if the word ends in a vowel before the Y just add an S..

donkey becomes donkeys

monkey becomes monkeys

say becomes says

next lesson.. use of  the humble apostrophe

class dismissed!

bought a couple of panels of gridwall (couldnt find pegboard) to use as storage on my kitchen wall, so its back out with my masonary drill today.

my electric screwdriver has kicked the bucket so it will have to be all hand tightened, still got blisters from hanging the shelves the other day.

house full of men and theyre all useless intellects :_|

i did send lolly to ikea for the hanging baskety things

she has one in her room at her desk as well

they are a bit too handy at times

and you need to clear them off periodically!

but very flexible for all those things you dont know where to put, or use a lot

i have things like these

they do about 6 different kinds

but you will be able to get them elsewhere

ikea ones have a sort of hanging handle on them

but i dont use them (it takes up too much space on the grid IYSWIM

so anything with a hole, or can have 2 put in does

Ikea is good for storage baskets , i have 2 of their bag wicker baskets on my dresser shelves 😄

Oh I see. We have a lack of wall space here. It's a very individual 60's house with too many windows and doors! Good for light but rubbish for furniture! We have 7 doors to outside on the ground floor which includes 4 sets of patio doors.

Morninggg...it's well sunny here..tra la laaaaa 😄

and all the birds are shouting...since 5 this morning 😐

We only have one door in the whole house huggles,doesn't take long to lock up....

I like baskets too,I have one or two of those huge wicker lidded jobs full of fabric stuff :8}

ooooooh and we may have temporary addition to the family in the next few weeks...Toxic's friend is having to move house and he can't take his dog so he asked last night if Toxic would be able to look after him until he (friend) can find him a forever home........

It will be nice to have a dog around again if only for a short time 😄
