Talking about holidays. You know you can only take one bag on board the plane...what if you want to buy some duty free on the way out? Does that have to be packed into said bag?

No you are ok buying it because it's airside but be careful if you want to bring it back. So buy alcohol and drink it but be careful with perfume etc because it will have to be underr 100 cl in your plastic bag on the way home. If I buy perfume I post it home on the last day.

I don't buy perfume, only booze! 😉 So you can take two bags on the plane, one hand baggage & one duty free?

Coming back would you carry booze bought in Spain in your hand baggage?

No Maggie, its still liquids & not allowed 😞

If you do that, wrap it in towels & put it in your case, its risky but I've done it & its stayed intact  then you can still buy more at the airport & carry that 😄

Last time DD put booze in their case it was missing when they got their case back. Along with their new camera.:-(

Its OK to take a dutry free bag if you are travelling on an airline like BA or Iberia but I travel to Spain quite a lot on Ryanair and you can't take a bag of duty free just your 1 peice of handluggage so in you want duty free you have to leave some space.

We are going Squeezyjet. I think I will have to forsake my Duty Free then as you can't take more than 100ml in your hand luggage.:-(

I "lost" a new phone out of my case a few years ago Maggie 😞

thankfully it was just a £10 payg I'd bought so the boys could ring their girlfriends without getting a huge phonebill & I hadn't got round to adding the credit on it, I still had the £40  credit voucher in my bag 🙂

evening everyone, had another busy day, only got to sit and have our lunch at 2.30!!

I went to Al*i to see this wool they had on offer, luckily someone had opened all the packs up and put them in the bins loose, so you could choose 4 different colours for £4.99:-)

got to the till to pay and I thought whoa! that was a bit expensive, when we checked the list they'd charged us £4.99 PER BALL:O

wonder how many peeps bought it and didn't notice?:|

The vet rang this morning. They've changed Lottie's op from Thursday to Wednesday.  I've got about six friends coming Wednesday evening so I hope it doesn't upset her. .:-(

Just an update although I'm sure you're all sick to death of me & OH. He's gone to get the chinese (bit early! we don't eat till later! :O) but I got my hug. Oh, and my laptop & holiday. :_| I really just want a PREDICTABLE husband!
