We still teach children to use a better word than nice..

and said.

"It's delightful." Shouted Huggles excitedly, as she rushed to tell her FHG pals all about it.

It's more like opening the box than watching them being made.

i'll run around with boiling water & towels

i'll pace up and down in the corridor

i'll hand out cigars

i'll shop for britain for the baby

but midwives apper to have had a few years training for such eventualities, i think i'll leave them to it

That's what I think Huggles, I can't wait to be a Mammar and be at the business end, being encouraging 'don't scream, use that energy to push' will be amazing:-D

I agree Merlin re midwives BUT I also think that actually HAVING a baby should be compulsary:-D

'It might sting a bit'

I had lovely midwives with Sam

I got to chose who I wanted with the girls but they ended up being 10 days early and she was away so I chose the one who had been my 'surgery midwife' with sam. She was really bossy but I felt really safe with her as she would take no chit from the docs etc.

I had Beau at home, was amazing:-D

my midwives were ok, dont remember them being awful - maybe that just faded away like the memory of the pain

i think if they were honest with women having their first then it might relax you a bit - its the unkown that is the fear (and the women down the corridor screaming their lungs out)

if they said, its going to hurt a while , but in a few  weeks everything should be back to normal

Morning Towery:-D

Toatally agree, if they said 'it's gonna sting and burn like boogery and you may feel like murdering your OH at certains points in the labour' then at least you'd be a little prepared:^O

'boobs in a bag':^O:^O

Was he walking funny when he left Twish?:|:^O

lovely chap really.... but when your chest feels as though it's gonna explode when you just look at it you don't want a man telling you it will be okay, you 'just need to feed more'...

His voice was a tad higher when he left.....

*wonders how long it took him to remove his fake boobs* ]:)
