At the risk of upsetting.. ( sorry in advance)
Huggles.. your OH is of another, older generation.. where men should ( in their mind) be firmly in charge and women should obey..
Here he is married to an attractive, assertive younger woman who has her own business and therefore her own money and certainly has her own mind..
Add that to moods his medical condition and meds can cause and you get..
One grumpy old git who is trying his hardest to assert himself as 'Boss'
Apologies if I'm totally wrong...

maybe he is having a "who can spend more" competition
and buys cars because he thinks he will win
but he didnt know till now your wool spend exceeds his car buying]:)

Morning all 🙂
Well done on your bargain Numpty & double well done to Mr Snoops on bagging yourself a cornetto :^O
Hug for Huggles :-x
My Hubby's only 7yrs older than me but its certainly become obvious over the last 2-3 yrs, only the other day I told him how if he carried on like he his at times he's going to be a typical grumpy miserable old man in a few years ........... for some reason he wasn't impressed :|:^O
Huggles whats the relationship between your Boys & your Hubby like, are they close ? Do they care what happens ?
:^O at getting a cat to match the curtains thats the easy bit but there's no guarantee you would get a cuddly one 🙂

prom shopping:_|
for boys:_|:_|
i had hoped he could wear his kilt and just buy new shirt socks etc, i knew he would need new shoes as his feet have grown, again
its been a while since he has worn it
clearly too long, it looks ridiculous on him:-(
he has obviously grown quite a bit as he will need new belt & sporran as well, they look tiny on him now
school have asked they dont have real sgian dubhs either
this is gonna get expensive
surely he cant grow much more?
28-03-2012 10:37 AM
Here I am.;-) I agree with Chez & CK. My late hubby was 8 years older than me and was in training to be a grumpy old git too. :^O
28-03-2012 10:39 AM
😮 I read that as the kilt was too long :^O
sat here thinking...whaaaaaaaaaat?????
then the penny dropped 😐
28-03-2012 10:51 AM
CK my big son gets on with everyone, he's just a softie. OH & youngest have blazing rows. 😞
They are both a bit Mum supportive which must get on OH's nerves but that's boys & their mum! Eldest hasn't seen his dad since he was tiny so he's bound to be close to me. I despair of the youngest but I think we're close (some of you know the tricky situation he asked me to sort out a little while ago!).
I don't share my boys easily either! They're mine!!! ]:)
CK, why do you ask?

Me too ........ but the penny's not dropped here 😐
My lad wore a kilt to his prom Merlin, there was afew of them & they looked soooooooo smart 😄
I don't think he's looked smart since & has certainly never had his hair cut since either X-(
At what point do OH's turn from being good looking, witty, charming & pleasant .............. into there Dads 😐
28-03-2012 10:58 AM
Think I must have my relationship wrong going by the comments on here.
Mr Stan is 17 and a bit years older than me,is never grumpy,is totally laid back and behaves younger than me at most times.
So that must mean.....................
I'm gonna turn into a grumpy old b**ch :O:^O
28-03-2012 11:00 AM
It's been too long since he last wore it CK :^O
It's Merlin's accent that fools ya 😐
28-03-2012 11:03 AM
kilts do look smart CK
he has worn a kilt off an on throughout his teens at various times
cant decide whether to go the whole hog now or not
a 16oz dress kilt isnt cheap, he would get more wear out of it, if he has stopped growing, but thats a big if:-(
when do boys stop growing?
