batteries have cells maggie

they all need to be working

halfords will test it for free and tell you if its the battery if you have someone who can take you (and your battery of course)

it should have enough charge in it being charged all day

batteries do only have a certain life in them though

is it an old battery?

No idea how old it is as it was in the car when I bought it. I have AA Home Start so they will look at it tomorrow & fit a new battery if needed. Fortunately I got a lift to quilting this morning.

Meant to say that the lights come on in the car when I open the door but I just get a 'thunk' when I turn the ignition. Battery or not?

Glad to hear Holly's home numpts, is she fully recovered or will you have to 'nurse' her, meaning fetching and carrying, letting her have her favourite TV programmes on, cooking her favourite meals and generally waiting on her hand and foot?:^O
