I have had it & I felt like I was dying! You should call the doctor if you stop breathing though.....is helpful.:-)

well surely she wouldn't ignore us?:|
08-01-2012 11:24 AM
maybe she is weeping and wailing at our lack of sympathy:-(
i know 2 people who have had it, and both were in hospital
dont know much about it though:-(
i have a sewing Q?
bunting
when i made my bunting it was normal size
i made it inside out and turned it,
will this work with mini bunting? mini being finished size about 5cms per flag? or is it too small?

You might just get away with it that small merlin. You'd need quite thin fabric and cut the excess seam allowance very close to the stitching. Don't be too rough on it, turning it through or else it might fray and make a hole. You could try just one to see how it goes.:-D

Probably a bit small but try a sample one & see what you think. If you put some iron on interfacing (or bondaweb) between the two layers you could just zig zag around the raw edges.:-D

CG is right & shes an expert now she has her super dupa new machine 😄

i shall try a couple and see how i get on:-D

Morning.
A bit grey here today.
Who is the bunting for Merlin?
I used bondaweb when I made my little case yesterday and it was great 😄

sorry i was away having a wee play
seems to work without the web
bit fiddly, but do-able
its for me:-D
i want it for a dresser shelf
08-01-2012 12:48 PM
The bondaweb just helps to prevent it fraying & moving as you sew.:-)
08-01-2012 12:58 PM
Bondaweb is the devil's web.:|

Everyone's gone out to lunch. OH fed me more marmite toast before he went. Wondering if a glass of something would help me sleep off this bug but I feel guilty having a drink while I'm 'off sick' from lunch with my Mother! :_|
Hot chocolate with a brandy wouldn't count would it?

Of course I could have a coffee if someone would teach me how to use the new vomiting penguin machine. 😐
Off to read Numpty.

The black vomiting penguin one. 😐 Don't make me go downstairs & look, I'm ill! I think it's a Nescafe one.
OH has 'conducted' lessons but I wasn't really concentrating. 😐 There was a stage where he said 'pull this back & make sure it clicks' & I asked what to do if it didn't click & he obviously didn't know so just glared at me.....so I wandered off & did some knitting. 😐
08-01-2012 1:26 PM
Mine is a Kenko one. I don't like Nescafe coffee much. Now have some medicine & enjoy it.:-D
