I'm here, all of a shake.  Just sitting here when I noticed one of the back floodlights outside had come on.  I go round peering out and checking all the doors, telling myself it's just a fox or something.  After five minutes it goes out.  Five minutes later the front spot light comes on (you can hear a sort of thump somewhere because it suddenly draws so much power)  I go peering out again, feeling a bit nervous and then I suddenly saw it!! A muntjack, and it was limping slightly.  Frightened me to death!:_|

Poor little deer. I hope he is ok.

It's grey here & looks like rain again. Would rather have that than frost though even if it does look pretty.

Morning

Tis wet here 😞 Was going out but now can't.

Don't want frost either - that is also slippery.

Think I'll crack on with my sewing/knitting/crochet today - so many projects on the go!

Hoping it clears out later - we are supposed to be going to a fireworks party.

When CK comes in can someone ask her to direct me to her doggy snoods? Son's gf wants one for her dog.

Thanks for the link Maggie. I'm going to have to commission a mini bespoke one as it's a Jack Russell! 🙂

Morning ladies.:-D  Drizzly here and the garden is finally beginning to look autumnal with the leaves falling and the plants changing from green to orange and red.

We see quite a few muntjacks around here but I've never seen one in our garden before.  They run across the road in front of you.  A few years ago a neighbour came to get hubby because one had been knocked down and was lying in the road.  Hubby and daughter took it to the vet's in the van, but he only gave it an injection. We put it in the barn overnight and in the morning it was dead.:-(

Daughter (just a mile down the road) often has Roe deer in her garden.

We're common, we just get millions of foxes. This year they have terrible mange & all have bald pink bottoms. 😞 People's dogs locally are catching it & the local vet charges £90 for fox mange treatment so foxes are a bit out of favour!

A friend of my daughters collects the deer that have been knocked down & butchers them for meat. I have some lovely venison sausages in my freezer. She phones him if she sees one!

TOTALLY off topic but...

I've found 4 fairies that were bought for the girls many years ago. I have no idea what they are made of but I know that they were expensive *£25 each:O* and they were bought in London by a friend as a xmas gift. They are a bit like flower fairies and they have wire stems so can be arranged however*I used to have them in a big vase of twigs and dried flowers* They are in perfect condition etc. Now my question is, is it worth selling them, would anybody buy them and lastly, what would I list them under?:|

*ok, more than 1 question:8}*
