Talking of the kids growing up it's hard to believe that Saskia will be 2 on wednesday, doesn't seem long ago that she was so new. Even my SIL said the other day that he can't remember a time when she wasn't around.
Aw hippy, I hope a tear is better than a snap. A friend of mine snapped his Achilles tendon a while back. He did the same to the other one ten years ago and back then he had an operation. This time he was told they don't operate now and he was put in plaster for nine weeks. This meant he and his wife had to cancel their holiday to Dubai or somewhere round there. He finally went and got the plaster off a couple of weeks ago and they put a 'moon boot' on, up to his knee and that has to stay on for another six weeks! That's fifteen weeks on crutches. It's messed up their holiday to Harrogate next week too. His wife is not very pleased with him!!X-(
Hope yours doesn't take as long or you'll be on crutches for Christmas.:-(
