Hello, anyone here? Should I just say 'hi John, yes Bruges was good' or 'I was stupid all those years ago. Ravage me'?
Of course what you need to say is 'Well helloooooo John. Are you free next weekend because if you are we can take a little trip to Bruges and I'll show you what you've been missing on all your previous visits there. ;-)'

Nah! Hasn't got good teeth! You can tell a man by his teeth! lol

Forces or ex Forces - loves regimen - socks folded into triangle - placed in drawer facing north to south - underwear a variation of the same - likes procedure and everything orderly - don't start me on making a bed - or ironing - or preparing to go out for the day or on holiday - Army/Navy (in my case) is mother/father and everything else to them - not much thinking involved on their part - it's all done for them. Maybe not like that now, but it used to be 😐
Run a mile. Plus, you can never go back, not a good idea. Just my thoughts.

Morning all.
Going on what you say RDW it's no wonder Mr S was kicked out of the boy scouts never mind not making the army,.:|
The bathroom floor is his washing basket, as long as socks fit they are a pair (no matter ones green and ones blue) and as for the bed ............we have a duvet and that usually ends up in a heap in the middle :^O
Proper frosty morning here so had to scrape before work and the fiels are glistening white, however mr fox has taken advantage and is sitting on the river bank with a poor dead duck.

Good morning, could have done with some snow this morning, might have got another day off! Love all the comments about my ex contacting me on Facebook! CK cautious, Stan caring, Maggie judging him by his teeth and CG, well you are as much of a hussy as me! Didn't reply to him. Will just make a passing comment recommending Bruges and seasonal wishes back. Tempted to say your daughters are beautiful but that would kind of expose the fact that I've trawled through his photos, his friends and basically his life since 1985! He's a major and an MBE, has a holiday home in the Lake District and a dog called Archie....but I expect you lot know that!!!

Morning. Didn't you notice his teeth? lol 😉
Cold & damp here today. I have sewing to finish & and have a friend coming for coffee so I had better get dressed.:-)
05-12-2012 9:09 AM

05-12-2012 9:24 AM
No Maggie! Did notice the rest of his body though! I wonder why he has looked me up? I weighed myself this morning and I've lost six pounds! How did that happen?
05-12-2012 9:35 AM
It was all that exercise you got when jumping up and down with excitement when you got his message 😉

Morning all
Well we seem to have light at the end of the tunnel. Mum is much better and they are talking of sending her home. Still unsure as to the cause of the hallucinations and confusion though. They are saying that OT and Psychiatric Ageing Team will assess her needs once home - mmmm.
Has been a worrying time, but at least my OH and my brother are home now to share the load. I may even get my life back at some point!
05-12-2012 10:07 AM
That sounds like better news Mags. Hope this is a permanent improvement.:-)
05-12-2012 10:28 AM
much better news, and having some time to your self to recover will be good.
Maggie, enjoy your coffee and of course a good natter.
I myself will be hobbling out with 3 mates for our annual Christmas catch up lunch and laugh...I just have to get dressed too:^O
I've put the kitchen timer on so I don't stay on here too long, oh how sad is that:^O
05-12-2012 10:30 AM
Not sad at all. It's all too easy to get carried away on here! I must say you look very dashing in your Christmas hat! 😄
05-12-2012 11:47 AM
Morning all 😄

05-12-2012 12:01 PM
We have snow too. Has stopped falling but we have a covering.
Just waiting for an OT to ring to arrange to go and see Mum's house.
Been doing a little bit of sewing and knitting between hospital visits and phone calls, just to try and save my sanity 😉
05-12-2012 5:08 PM
OMG - just taken me over an hour and a half to get home from the hospital - normally 15 minutes. I nevber seen so much sheet ice on the roads. Cars are literally crawling and I never got out of second gear.
So pleased to be home safely.
Meeting the OT at Mum's house tomorrow morning.
05-12-2012 5:41 PM
Sad time here tonight. Oscar and Jess are now on their way to Australia.
05-12-2012 5:43 PM
Oh huggles...you must be so sad 😞
05-12-2012 5:45 PM
We have bad ice here too on the A9 - we are on the back road where the ambulances come in and we have heard 2 already this afternoon/evening 😞 I loathe driving in it and have to pick up my son from railway station later on.
