Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Hello, I'm here! No flooding, it's bizarre isn't it cos we've had masses of rain. Still on the diet and still no weight loss! Also bizarre unless I get up in the night and binge! Stomach is getting flatter though and quite noticeably so I can't complain, just want to know where it's gone! Off to pick up some chairs I bought on here, then mums supermarket trip then....I might sew up something! Or...I might start something else.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Must be nice to see a noticeable difference hugles even if there's no change in your actual weight after all as you said this was about you looking better for xmas and your Holiday.

Maybe its your bodies way of telling you to tone not diet ?:|

Still a flatter tummy will also mean a new wardrobe won't it 😉

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Very cold here too. I have to shop this morning & will then go & collect Damson.

It was great fun hanging the quits for the show. Must have been about 50 Including Jan Tillets,  Kaffe Fasset's & Ferrets!  Ferret's 'Prometheus' quilt is so big it had to be hung from the balcony! We had to hang 13 vintage quilts too which were rather fragile! Great fun though & we are back on Saturday to take them all down again.

Some of that wont make sense if your not into quilting! lol:^O

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

As ive said before i love Ferrets work 🙂

Vintage quilts amaze me that they have lasted so long as most were made from old clothes anyway , must have been good sewing 😄

Maggie i can just imagine you pulling each of them out of a box saying oooh i like this one :^O

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Can I run a row past you just to make sure I'm not the one going mad? Took Mum to the supermarket after picking up the chairs. On the way I noticed the interior light was on in the car so switched it off. Went to the fish & chip shop tonight (I know! First time!) in OH's car and when we got home I noticed the interior light was still on in my car. Mentioned it to OH and said if he clicked it off I would get the plates Etc. well, does that make me a stupid lying cow who knows nothing about cars didn't turn the light off and is making excuses? Thinking back I probably nudged the light switch putting the chairs in so it was on/off the wrong way round. This is a man who left his drivers door wide open on the drive when he came home from squash on Friday so the postman had to knock and tell us and moved youngest sons car for no reason last week and left the keys in the ignition until it was driven again four days later. I hate it when he says I'm lying, what is there to lie about? Oh I hope he's not going into one again.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

You're right, the back door (land rover) wasnt shut and there was light telling me that which I didn't see until later when we got to the supermarket. The back door shuts but not properly u less you slam it. The window comes down about an inch to stop a vacuum. All this aside, why in the name of bejesus would I lie about a car light? His last outburst was 10th November. It's so irrational.

He is supposed to be leaving the house at 7.00 tomorrow to go to London and pick up sofas that I don't want. He wants to throw out my parents old ones. I have turned off the alarm clock.
