Just a quick pop in but can't stop atm 🙂
I've had a couple of messages so will answer here for now to save time, ....
in all honesty & as much as I hate to say so ..... I think mummy to be is being abit of a drama queen & wanting attention 😞
Yes ... there does seems to be a problem with her bloods & she had to go back for more yesterday after results of previous ones came through showing very high "something" ? ..... but she phoned hospital again today for "whatever reason ..... (she's been very vague :|) & they had her go back again & they have taken more blood for further tests (3rd lot in 5days) + they want to run another ultrasound ........ all sounds very worrying & son is very concerned, he didn't want to go to work today & leave her but I persuaded him to & said I would take her & stay with her, which I did.
Sooo ...... why have I come away with the impression all isn't as bad as she's saying, the midwife didn't seem at all concerned about anything & it will be a couple of weeks untill she gets a scan appointment !!
I feel really heartless & sound unsympathetic ..... but 😞
I'm really stuggling to keep my mouth zipped as I don't want cause conflict between them :_|

Cat, just read your post, seems your son is in for a rough ride. perhaps you could have a quiet word with him and explain her hormones are causing her to over-react a little. I don`t know what job he has but he doesn`t need to be worrying all day and not concentrating even driving there and home again. Perhaps you could point this out to madam as well ? She maybe needs to understand what stress and potential problems she could cause for him? I`m sure you can phrase it delicately !
When they get to 18 then leave home you think all the problems are over when in reality they are only just beginning. I have often said to young mums struggling with babies and toddlers and pushchairs etc..."You probably think this is the difficult bit Sorry to tell you but this is the easy part ! "

Love 2P ...love the fingerless mitts.. mine have a button back flap which flips over the fingers when I get extra cold. A friend knitted them for me about 20 years ago when I used to stand market.

Leave home at 18 ...... Yes he did that 🙂
then finished Uni & came back again :^O
with a soon to be family in tow 😐
I'm one of the one's who used to laugh when people told me when they were little that that was the easy part :^O

I don't know of any who leave home at 18 for real these days. I did but my two wouldn't have a clue!

Went back to sleep and have only just woken up again. So much for leaving at ten! OH is hogging our bathroom now so I think I'll just snuggle down again!

My son was well into his 20's when he left home. He didn't come back though.:-)
Nice day here now. I had a lie in too & am not dressed yet!
KC I hope there are not any real problems with the pregnancy. I also hope she starts to realise she is having a little person come into their lives & not a dolly.
CK you have an envelope too.:-D
