Curtain makers have to be fit !  No way could i throw 45 yds of 54" wide upholstery fabric onto my workbench now let alone fold it,  cut it  & sew it into curtains ..in fact i really dont know how i ever managed to do it at all 😐

I will stick to quilting methinks :^O

Kitten it may be time for a career change ..go on  open a craft shop 😄

That's a beautiful box pcc, it's soooo neat.:-D

I find it awkward making curtains because of lack of a table big enough.  I end up spreading them on the floor and getting dog hairs (and dog) on them.:-(

Thats the trouble with large quilts too they end up on the floor , in my case covered in cat hairs :^O  Also im far to old & fat to crawl about on the floor nowadays !

normally the cat would want to "help"

but she was sulking at the weather :^O

i got a cordless/rechargable antibacterial vac thingy for wood floors

so when i need floor space i whizz that around rather than the vacuum (i nearly said hoover and remembered! :^O)

Finished the other collar AND sewed in all the ends on the striped cadi! At lunch my mum said there's a really good wool shop where we are going on holiday (not that I didn't know!) and we should go there! The boys and OH sooooo wanted to say she's got enough wool! B-) ' my mum said buy it!' B-)

oooh that box is lovely! well done, that is so neat, I love it.

I haven't stopped today, started at 7am with washing, then ended at 9.30pm with mopping the hall floor after we took up the carpet ready for some laminate flooring.....I'm pooped!!!:_|

hey laydees, ain't read owt so forgive me. feel like total poop. Went emergency docs on saturday who says I've got a nasty dose of tonsillitus and has put me on a high dose of anti-biotics for 10 days. Problem I'm having is that they are in tablet form and I can't fricking swallow em to OH has been crushing them, sprinkling them in  my mouth and I've been wahing em down as best I can with water/solpedeine:|They tast sooo vile, only thing I can liken em too is they taste the way petrol smells:|:_|

Wish there was a 'sits with tears running down face' smillie cuz:_| requires facial movement and that hurts too much.

I'll give OH his do tho, he has been exceptionally good, he's done all the cooking, cleaning, washing up etc and he's even admitted that trying to get everything done AND keep everybody happy ain't the easiest thing in the world and he said this morning that he'd rather eat my cooking than his ANY day of the week lol

I got a bit brave last night because I felt soo sick*haven't eaten since thursday* so I had one of Bs smooth yoghurts:-)

I'd forgotten how bad tonsillitus can be, that'll teach me:-(

Maggie, yes it is the fabric shop too. I might get brave and branch out into sewing!

We have the torch today. It goes past our old office but not near our new one. Still don't understand what idiot chose the route! We spend thousands making the Esplanade look good every year and they've chosen to miss it and go one road back past the station and all the rehab places!

ive been doing some lickle bits and pieces that needed fixing, and have been using stan (which is the electric screwdriver stan sent me).

house full of men, and not one of them can put a nail in a wall

will have to get a pic of my homemade saucepan holder come junk hanger which i put up in the kitchen using stan.:-D
