Afternoon

Well the escape from the house worked 🙂 Met family in town for coffee 🙂 Did some shopping - my Dad had to help as I can walk but can't carry anything as my hands are full of crutches!!

Shall save my creative burst for tonight for S&B group - suppose I need to think what I'd like to do. Probably natter and catch up on 8 weeks gossip!

builders have been filling my house with dust, kitchen has been  fairly inaccessible all day, just managed to move the fridge to makea coffee, i'll be better prepared monday when they are just in there,  atm they are in bathroom, front of the house and back yard, out doing guttering too

there have been between 2 and 5 of them

Hi ladies! Don't know if anyone here remembers me (Patch does, its her fault I'm here lol)

I stopped coming when they changed the boards but Patch says its gone nice again so I'm dipping my toe in and seeing how it is!

I knit now, and I'm halfway through a jumper for Mary. Its taken some time cos its my first one and I messed it up, but its getting there

Well done on the jumper - I don't even think my knitting will be good enough to attempt things beyond scarves & wrist warmers.

hi Hippy, yes thats me! Kids are now 5(b) and 3(g)

and yes, the cakes we're me too. I'm just in the process of setting up a cake business from home 😄 I'm absolutely loving it!

The knitting has took me a while to get into cos I'm left handed, but I knit right-handed. I can't knit the wrong way I end up with it all too tight. So my lovely friend sat and very patiently taught me (over about 3 days) to knit the right way!

Well I made it too S&B 🙂 Struggled up the steps to the building on the way in but when I got in the chap that runs the building told me there is a level entrance!!! So I went out that way! Much easier.

One minor problem - tis wet out tonight and when I got home I nearly skated across the tiled hall as sticks and boot have no grip when wet! I was being careful but will remember that for future!

Emma - I tore my achilles tendon at the end of August. 8 weeks in plaster later and I've swapped to a moonboot till December! Am more mobile than I was but still a long way from 'normal'.

Im off to hospital soon to see the Chest Consultant , i have still got a wheezy cough from the chest infection i had earlier this year 🙂

May get a bit of retail therapy in as theres a M&S factory shop on the next street to the hospital 😄
