still got power, had a few flickers this afternoon

its quite bad out

school got out early, so did lolly

bradley made it home but every train at his back is cancelled,

lolly coming from the opposite direction but cant find out onine and its an underground station so i cant phone her

she should be home soon if she managed to get a train

hope everyone else is dry, warm & safe

Huggles, I told hubby about your sons birthday wishes, when he woke up, only for him to tell you (via facebook) that he was already up!! Hubby has a sneaking feeling that he hadn't got up & that he just hadn't been to bed yet!

Good luck all you 'windy' people, but blowy here but not to bad! Lay off the beans!

I opened a bottle of wine three or four nights ago and it's horrible:_| but as I don't like waste (especially wine:O) I'm forcing myself to drink it.  It's even worse than I thought, I just read on the bottle it's non-alcoholic!!!!:O

And a great big 😮 at Merlin having Lucas!  I remember my sister telling me, if you wear pale clothes, have a pale dog.  if you wear dark clothes, get a dark dog.  She didn't mention carpet though. . . . . . . . . I have beige carpet and a choccy labrador.  That wasn't good planning :^O

i always hear all the gossip

all 3 of them each have a cirlce of friends, mixed sexes

so there is always gossip

and they congregate here and hear all about it

its nice they feel they can tell me everything thats going on

but sometimes, there are details a mummy just shouldnt hear about their own, especially boys

be warned, its gonna make you feel old!

you KNOW you are old enough to have "children" who are sexually active, but hearing details is like a cloak of doom that decends upon you:^O

I agree he's a handsome looking boy, are  you sure he's a boy 😐 cos he's the spitting image of a younger version of my Sadie :^O

Huggles what a horrendous time you must have had getting to the wedding, I bet you thought you were never going to get there in time 😮 I'm sure it was all forgotten though once all the celebrations kicked off 😄
