Very nice & sunny here at the moment so im sitting in the garden .

Got really pee'd off with this chest infection not improving so went to our local hospital walk in centre this morning .

So i saw a lovely Dr who was very understanding about copd & has put me back on steroids for 5days plus a much stronger Anti B Augmentin 625mg for 7days.

Fingers crossed it works

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Hope the new meds get you right again pcc.  It's a bit scarey when two doctors disagree about treatment isn't it?  If these meds do the trick, will you trust your own GP any more?

What's the trouble with your bunting merlin?  I bet they turn out just super like all your other stuff.:-D

Afternoon

Just got back from Craft Fair.

It stayed fine, but a bit windy. Not enough sales though as I think it wasn't advertised very well.

Sold some fragrances, but no tealights or burners.

Only half a dozen metalmen.

We are absolutely shattered as we've been on the go since 7am.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Sorry I don't have a better pic of elph's fab work... the banner was so large I couldn't fit it all in and decided birthday was what i was celebrating... BIG time 😄

The whole banner goes from one corner of the room right across to the other and says...

"Happy Birthday Jennie"

My pride and joy 🙂  ...and is staying put for ever!!!

Thanks to sis for arranging it and............ very much to elph for the stunning craftwork and design. :-x   :-x   :-x

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

its not really

its not as pointed as it should be

i wrestled with them for ages

normally i learn what i do wrong after the 1st time

the only thing i can think of is i used the same material on the back of all of them, and it was thicker

i am thinking maybe a little too thick

IF i make any more i will use the same thickness (thin material) for back & front

i quite enjoyed making it though

That bunting looks absolutely fine merlin, but let's have the whole American diner look.  All your American stuff and you in your short sticky out skirt, pony tail, bobby socks and sneakers.:^O

Very nice and sunny here too.  It was so hot last night, 27 degrees in the kitchen,  had to put the air conditioning on.  Babysitting duties today (although the 'baby' is 6 yrs old!)  Guess what we're going to make......................bunting!!:^O

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

We've got a weather warning for tomorrow, torrential rain.:-(

After trying her at sewing last time I thought if she made the flags (single fabric, stick a few bits on) then I'll string them up for her.  Her cousin's bunting is still here and I think she'll fancy that, but she had the doll so,  'Tough'!!
