I asked hubby to get a chicken from the freezer yesterday for today's meal.  So we're having a turkey for tea.  You'd think HE would know the difference!:O

(the fact that it was all wrapped up in tied plastic bags is beside the point!)  MEN!

kitchen seems to have went backwards, why do men make things worse to make them better? i never understand it

Evening ladies.  I've just had my Christmas dinner and I'm making another skirt for daughter.  I HATE putting zips in!  Probably because I'm no good at it.:-(

Not been up to anything really, I set off to go round to SIL's this afternoon but had to turn round & come back home  (damb knee)

going to a council meeting soon re the proposed building of a "HUGE" superstore  right on my doorstep 😞

We've had sunshine today and it's been warm, I even had the door open!  I think the forecast is for heavy rain tomorrow.:-(

I'm not a fan of zips either, found it easier to get that part done first. 😐 then it was all a pleasure from there 😉

Ive been mostly sewing foundation pieced blocks this week . Just trimmed em all to size so later i may sew them together if there snowt on telly 🙂

I didnt know you dont have a garden, i'll pack some soil on my next trip 😉

Its more than likely the 2 are connected, but the scan would be a great start to finding out.

As for getting old, ..... we all are 😉

My hubby is still 'at work' now the nights are lighter.  He comes in when the chickens and ducks are all put away.  In the depths of winter that's about 4pm and in the height of summer it's about 10pm.  At the moment it's just after eight.

Feet and legs are a bane aren't they? I envy people with good legs and think life must be so much easier to be able to prance about and not even notice they're there!:|

This is a joke my son just emailed me (from the living room!) It took me a few seconds to 'get it' (not that it's very funny!:|

An Englishman, a Frenchman, a Spaniard and a German are all standing watching a street performer do some excellent juggling. The juggler notices that the four gentlemen have a very poor view, so he stands up on a large wooden box and calls out, "Can you all see me now?"
