Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD

Obviously you want the touch pad to work ok, but do you actually use it?  I hate using it, always use a mouse.  When I go to my daughter's to babysit, her hubby knows to have his lappy all set up ready for me.  At first he didn't have a mouse, so I used to take my own with me!:-D

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD

My youngest has a lappy and I had the touchpad - he always plugs a mouse in for me if I have to use it.

Definately a nice but naughty person 😉

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD

Very good merlin, they were probably surprised to see a youngster with enthusiasm.  What does the job entail?  (apart from running)?:|

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD

Just seen your slogan at the bottom Maggie.  I've only one thing to say about that. 'You speak for yourself. For some of us it is!'  ;\

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD

anything and everything really

making cups of tea, seeing to guests
out on location she would get props
research, anything at all really

a few famous people started off as runners, Michael McIntyre did

she has an impressive CV for her age
she has worked hard and is very dedicated to her career
she volunteered at a newspaper since she was 14, and has done community radio and hospital radio
now she can produce shows, as they trained her and sent her on lots of courses

she does outside broadcasts as well, things like the switching on of the christmas lights etc

the music magazine means she gets tickets to loads of things as well, so she really does keep herself busy

Didn't Jonathan Ross start as a runner?

Never read or seen Brigit Jones, so I don't know what you mean.  It's something about big knickers isn't it?:|
