the gingerbread men & women are wee wooden blanks i just painted and embelished with wee bows etc

and the signs i wrote freehand

i will need to look see what the colour of the paint was for the GB men

b&q dont look kindly on you walking around with one comparing, miserable sods:^O

i just used tester pots of matt emulsion

anything else is too shiney

Just popping in to say hello & see how the poorly peeps are, glad your feeling abit better today hippy, have you tried the vics or eucalyptus in hot water to make a head steam bath, it may help with the bunged up part 🙂

Glad the knees not to bad mags, try to go easy on it for today, sometimes it can take a few days for all the bruising to show, one of my mates fell on her knee thought it was just a bruise and a bit of swelling, turned out she damaged her cartlidge, mind you that same mate can fall over a hair & brake a leg lol 🙂

Cg i dont want you to feel lost or fed up with your free time, so i'm posting you some ironing 😉 hope you enjoy your free time 🙂

Had granson this morning just while his mam n dad did a little shopping, were going there for dinner tomorrow, which will be nice. 🙂

Afternoon

Yes I have been steaming and it does help loads - its something I have to do when I get a cold as it always seems to end up in my ears/sinuses and then I get infections. Have been out this morning for a walk into town and to see a friend and my Grandma.

Despite the fog its quite warm out there - am wearing considerably less than this time last week!! Didn't need a hat/scarf or my coat done up!! and the heating is off at the moment!!

Hope you knee is ok Mags??

Good luck with the sign painting - I seem to remember you doing some lovely writing on one of the labels of your christmas pressies???

I have since been informed that i removed said recipe and others from the folder and replaced them in a newer one..................

So where is it, i have een emptying wardrobes, containers, looking under the bed, searching little bedroom ...... still no joy

So i guess i wont be making any today 🙂

Its real foggy here so i wont be venturing anywhere today, good that you had the woolies on tho hippy just incase it got cold 🙂

Been to dinner @ my MIL's. OMG our eldest son is a complete nutter - had everyone in stitches. Think a very young John Cleese - all tall & gangly - daft as a brush that boy!!

I just wish I'd got a video of him on Christmas Day - outside in the snow doing the macerena to the Queens speech!! Fuelled by abserd (sp) amounts of choklit and a glass of wine!!

Been to daughters for early dinner then onto pub, we usually go out new years night then back here, but this year plans changed this morning, and it was out this aft and probably ( not certain) in tonight, we shall have to see what transpires 🙂 having a cuppa and relax now 🙂
