Stan, come and have a walk along the quay at Conwy, looking out to sea it's very much like that walk of Maggies..not as far to drive, you can buy an ice cream, and then come to mine for tea and cake afterwards

Phew it's hot here!!!!!

It's bloomin hot here too, my friend and I went out to lunch today and we sat outside, but we only stayed there for about 10 minutes and then went inside, we were roasting.

We have a lovely job to do tonight, we had 2 tons of chipping gravel delivered this morning so we now have to spread it on what was the front swamp ( I mean lawn).

Hopefully a bit cooler over the weekend, we need to cut the hedge as it has gone wild in this lovely weather.

Ive had my hair cut in a new  concave style i like it but heaven knows what it will be like when i wash it LOL 

I know i should have combed it before hubby took the pic ....

Like the hair Von.  That's nice.  We should have been having our hair cut tomorrow but I've altered it until next Thursday lunchtime.  As my hair grows like grass, it will be a blessing when I've had mine cut.

Meant to add that it's been hot here at the moment.  There is a breeze about but it's still warm.  Yesterday was hotter though.

I'm £97 the poorer now I've had a tooth filled, check up and hygenist

then it was off to the docs to get my prescriptions, go the chemist to get the meds only to find docs have missed one off!! aaarrrgghhh.

then off to shop for peanuts, sunflower seeds and mealworms for birdies, then the supermarket for food for us humans....

I'm pooped now and it's early start tomorrow too, see what I get up to on my day off?

Thanks CB.  They are coming at 7.30 so we'll have to be up at 6.30 which is only half an hour earlier for me as I'm normally up at seven.  I just hope that they are here at 7.30 because I won't be best pleased if they're late.  

I hate it when the doc's miss things off prescriptions.  They did that with my mum's last prescription.  When it was sorted, I got absolutely drenched going to pick the item up that was missed.

£97 at the dentist!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Is the filling gold plated CB?  It should be at that price.

CB i know dentist are costly but that is a lot !

Good heavens that seems very expensive.  I thought the maximum charge under Band 2 for that treatment on the NHS was £50.50 that includes fillings, scale & polish and checkup. Perhaps it was a private dentist.

I have a private dentist & it would cost more that that!
