 Just a quick update...

 I was back at docs & am on another week of steroids, then back next week for tests.

 My X-rays show extensive lung damage - 5 weeks & 2 days off the stinky stix...pity I didn't stop sooner 

 I can only walk about 10 yards, & I'm boogered !

 I'm feeling a wee bitty low, & I'm sorry this is such a blerdy depressing post !

I am back. Do take care of yourself Merc. I hope Stan is ok. I bought my grandsons Kindle Fire off him as he doesn't use it now he has a laptop so I must sit & play with it to see what it does.

Maggie - have fun with the kindle. I have a pen drive that has about 7000 books in kindle format. You copy them on to your computer and then copy them from there to the kindle when you want them. Just let me know if you would like to borrow it.

I love my kindle and couldn't manage without it, but I have the paper-white.

Thanks for that offer Stroppy. For the time being I will be using it when I go away to check emails etc & pop into Facebook. Jamie put some games on for me too! lol No time to read books at the moment. Too much quilting to do!  Do you girls think the Rennie Mackintosh Roses would sell better as a cushion rather than a wall hanging?

I have some lovely hand dyed fabrics Carol so should be ok. I will do a cushion I think.

I like wall hangings, as my OH always squishes cushions and ruins them!!!
