Morning everyone, You will never guess what the weather is doing this morning, yup raining again.

Will be crafting today I expect everyone out so I have a bit of peace.

Its wet weather here too & dark , im having a fabric stash sort out as i have far more than i can ever use in my lifetime LOL

Afternoon all.  At least it's stopped raining here but it's on the cool side and it's a bit on the blowy side.

I've been trying to sort my bedroom out as it's being decorated next week.  We are also having both hallways done as well.  For three nights next week, I'll be sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room as we only have two bedrooms and the other bedroom is my mum's.  There's no way I'd share with her as I'd never sleep as all she'd want to do all night is talk and she does enough of that during the day!!

My house desperately needs decorating as it was last painted in 2000. It's unlikely to ever get done as I can't afford to get any one in. My lovely son in law is going to do the kitchen & breakfast room for me but the rest is just too big a job.

Now there's an idea Merc.  We have managed to find a painter and decorator who was recommended to us by a friend.  He seems like a friendly enough chap and he's pretty reasonable as well.  

I don't think that my mum could sleep with me either as I do tend to snore a lot so I can't complain really.

on the beach eating ice cream & chasing Damson in half an hour

See what I've started and all I mentioned was decorating.  Merlin, I wish you would have let me know that you liked painting before we got the decorator booked.

i do like decorating

happy to paint, walls or woodwork

happy to paste paper

i wouldnt tackle hanging it

decorating is very satisfying

a transformation

like a butterfly from a chrysalis
