Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

I've got one in my crocs, which I wear around the house and garden, but not in any other shoes.  I notice the difference more when I haven't got it.  All in all  ( apart from the one thing, the locking of my hip, which is cured,) I'm a lot worse of really!!! Smiley Frustrated

We've only had one night of rain and wind so far and they're all tucked up in their little houses.  Smiley Happy

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

ooops I better not tell her that then, she's cursing the things as it is, if she thinks she'll be worse off she won't use them at all.

she shouldn't be standing all day at work but they won't let her sit down, not even perch herself on a wee stool. I can't see that it matters but the manager is wicked.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Evening all.  Not been back long as we've been out for our tea.  Grace's nan invited us up.  Didn't get any photos of her though 'cos she throws a right wobbler when she's tired.  When Grace was asked where she was sitting for her tea, she had to organise everybody but so long as she could sit next to me.  Bless her.  She did well and we nearly had another rendition of baa baa black sheep.

Must go now as I am shattered and my head is banging as Grace was in talkative mode even though she was tired.

Night night all.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

I've been busy seeing to some listing and I have parcelled a few things up so that I can post them tomorrow.  I've also been doing some knitting.

The weather here isn't too good at the moment.  It's overcast, cool and there's a little bit of a breeze about.  When I went for my swim this morning, a lady told me that she'd heard that we were going to have a bad winter.  I don't like the sound of that.  I want to hibernate.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Afternoon all.  Been a bit busy today but you can't really see what I've done.  It's been one of those days.  I have got some knitting done though.

The weather hasn't been too good here today as it's been blowy and we have had some showers.

How is everyone feeling today?  I could do with two new ankles to say the least but never mind.  There's plenty worse off than me.

Hugs to all that need them.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

blimey Stan, that's a lot of driving to do, wouldn't you think they could organise the tests over two days and you could have stopped over at an hotel? Hope Mr S is OK and feels better soon.

We are on holiday this week and next. I rang the hospital today and the secretary said that it's probably Nov for my op. I have stressed the point I'll have a cancellation, but I'm not hopeful.

Nice makes learning.  Been pottering again but I'm going to relax for the rest of the day.  I'm shattered now so I think that it will be an early night tonight.
