Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Kate - sorry to hear that you are back in hossie - hope they can get you well very soon.

Pretty fed up here - yesterdat was scrubbed with hibiscrub and dressed in the lovely vomit coloured theatre gown, waiting for a thetare slot. At 6:45pm got as far as the anaesthetic room when they decided to cancel the op due to an emergency.

So today, I am once again scrubbed and elegantly gowned - waiting to see if I get a theatre slot.

evening

sorry to here from you inside  Kate 😐

weather has been mainly ok here

had a little  fog the other day

and there has been little breeze,  that is supposed to change   to a sea breeze to morrow but not  a strong one

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

We had some mist this morning and this evening, we've had some rain.  I did wear a little more than a T shirt this afternoon whilst I was gardening.  After all, I didn't want to frighten the neighbours did I?

Woke up to snow but the drizzle soon melted it away. The wind dropped in the afternoon so the fog went. No?

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

good evening peeps....I had a busy busy day today, shopping with my matesgiggle smiley.gif

I bought a nice heart for the en suite door, very pretty. I bought trousers for me and top for OH, both are too smallsuprised smiley.gifshall have to go back now and swap them, gawd, this is why I hate shopping.

anyhoo, got cake to make tomorrow and crumble for the girls in work. I'm going to barter with a lady in work who has far too many apples...I'll have the apples and make her muffins...good swap eh?

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

That does sound like a good swap CB.  Wonders if there'll be any crumble left.

I'm off out to lunch with a couple of friends tomorrow.  Friday should be a quiet day and Saturday, we might have a certain 2 year old who may Grace us with her presence.  Knowing Grace, she will probably ask if she is staying for her tea.  That wouldn't be a problem - so long as there's cake for afters when she's finished her befores.  I should imagine her granny is worn out at the moment.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Morning all.

Sorry to hear that Merc isn't well.

Hope that you enjoy your day Maggie.

Glad that you enjoyed your holiday CK.  I don't think that I would have the nerve for a bikini.

Hope that Stroppy has her op as early as possible today.

Must go and get ready for my swim.  I'll be back much later.

Hugs to all that need them.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Well, they've decided that instead of messing me about any more they will change the dressing and let me go home for a few days whilst they sort out a definite theatre slot.

I just wonder how long it will take to sort out meds and paperwork.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

At least you'll get decent food.  This "starve for 24 hours" before an op, repeated sometimes two or three times a week does nobody any good.
