Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Evening all.

Had mum at the doc's for a blood test for her warfarin.  It has gone back up which is good because it is now in range.  We only have to go back in a fortnight.

Carol, you must let us have a photo of you with one of your wigs.

Hugs to all that need them.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Hubby lost his hair last time he was on chemo, now it's grown again and now he's on chemo again we'll have to see if he loses it again. Smiley Indifferent  He didn't mind that, It's not so bad for a bloke, plus he wears a cap most of the time anyway.  What he found worse was losing his toe and finger nails.  They've only just grown back.Smiley Sad  I won't go into detail but apart from the sleeplesness, the only problem this time,  so far is.................let's just say he's been eating fig biscuits all day and he had prunes and custard for after his tea!!Smiley Very Happy

good evening peeps....does anyone know how you can (what?????? NOW it decides to use the right font size)keep the font family and font size all the time, I have to keep altering it and as you can see it gets the hump and does what it wants................

anyhoo....someone stole all the hours out of my day today, I only feel as if there have been 6hrs in this day...only went to do a bit of grocery shopping and cook a meal and the days gone. Work tomorrow.

that's the sum total of my boring day off...mind you I've been too tired to do any mountaineeringgiggle smiley.gif

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Good job that you couldn't do any mountaineering CB.  Just imagine how bad the hooves would be.

I'm off out for lunch again tomorrow.  It's my mum's 81st birthday tomorrow and a friend of ours is coming to pick us up and we're going to a pub for a meal.  I'm looking forward to it and I know mum is.  Mum doesn't do to badly for her age considering that she has a heart condition as well.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Well,

went to hossie this morning for blood tests, they did my calcium and magnesium infusions. Blood tests came back and infection count is up again, so I am incarcerated again, with I.V. anti-biotics added to the cocktail of meds,

I'm fed up, but at least I've got half of the back of a cardigan for grandaughter knitted.

Rainy - hope that that all goes well with the stem cells and that there are no bugs or anything else nasty.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Morning all.

Stroppy, I'm sorry that you are back in hospital again.  (((((Stroppy)))))

It's cloudy here at the moment and an awful lot cooler.  We have been forecast rain for today.

Just read an article in the paper where a 2 year old had walked home along busy roads and only 50 yards from a canal.  Apparently, workmen had left the doors open.  The nursery staff hadn't noticed that the little girl had gone.  It's awful.

It's pouring here and has been since about 7.00, which was when I remembered I had put the sprinkler on the veg patch last night! They are well watered!
