Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Yeah, and it's well cosy, not much difference - talk about change of life - from thisEbay 3 Mar 427.jpg

to this Ebay 3 Mar 434.jpgI can just see my goddaughter's face when she sees it - she'll wee herself - plus the 2 wee girls will be hopping round the living room in it - they're gonna love it.  Honest to God if I didn't have a sense of humour I'd shoot meself.  Blerdy cancer.

Speaking of which, any news Chris on your Auntie yet? heart

Glad to see that you can laugh Carol.  I've not heard anything yet but I'll email one of my cousins now to see if she's heard anything and I will let you know.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Love the makes cookie.

After a really bad night, spent most of the day at A&E.

Can't lie comfortably, because a scrape on my back is soooooo sore. Can't stand - legs just won't support me. Can't sit comfortably as the rear is soooo sore due to the effects of the industrial stregnth anti-biotics.

So, I have just taken "the pain killers of last resort". They are actually no better at controlling the pain than anything else, but in 10 minutes or so I shall be so out of it I won't care.

See you sometime tomorrow afternoon when I return to the land of the living

Aaaw Stroppy it's just never ending isn't it?  You must be so fed up.  When you say out of it are you getting home?  I hope you get a good sleep (((J))), wherever you are.

PS - Do not buy an electric foot muff - twice tonight I've forgotten my feet were in the ruddy thing and went to take a step, only to end up in an involuntary praying position - dork.  Goodnight all.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

lol! I love that picture. Very misty here today. Muggy though. Taking my car for it's MOT at eleven. Fingers crossed that it passes without needing anything done. I am broke at the moment. It's been an expensive month.

Rainy - when I take "the pain killers of last resort" they make me as high as a kite. I just lie there drooling with this stupid grin on my face (not a pretty sight), vaguely aware that somewhere something hurts, but not caring. After a while I fall asleep. A bit like being very drunk (but without the hangover). They really are a last resort though and only to be taken when safely in bed, as I really cannot function when taking them.

I am currently at home - just got to keep the infection count down. I am safe until at least Friday, as blood tests aren't due until Thursday.
