Can anyone tell me how I can access any private messages on here that I've slready read please. Probably pretty obvious & I'm missing something but I can't seem to find access on these new boards & can only find a way in when it says i have a new message

up next to the My  settings link is a help  one  the  littlest  envelope is there looking like a grey

you should have one if you have a message

if you want to message someone  click their id and a page should have the message link on the right hand side if you scroll down a bit

if the message is in your messages make sure you click on the subject bit of the message and not the id of the sender cos that just pulls up their name

Morning all. 

The weather isn't so clever here at the moment.  It's been raining and it looks like there more of the wet stuff to come.  Also, it looks like there's a breeze about.  Just seen a headline on the front of the paper which says that by the end of the week, it will be 86 degrees Fahreinheit.  What the headline doesn't say is that it's just for southern England.  The headline makes it sound like it's for the whole country.  This is were newspapers do my head in.

Sorry for the little rant.

Stan, hope that there's some news soon and I hope that everything has gone well - no matter what name the choose for her.  BTW, are you still sitting on that cold step waiting?

Good morning all.  Looks like it is going to be a lovely day here, but I am attending hospital appointment with my daughter today, and we could be there most of the day 😞

Lovely day here. I have the house to clean after having the family here for a week & the garden chairs to finish painting. Also waiting for a clothes prop to be delivered as I have changed my rotary line to a long retractable one. The garden looks a lot bigger without it. I hope you all have a good day. Thinking of Rainy & Stroppy hoping they are ok.

The quilt show was brill as always but rather quiet this year ,  maybe as its a bit earlier than usual .   Walked miles , spent loads , came home tired & happy .

I havnt even upacked my bag yet so i have goodies to find a home for today 

Hugs to all who need one ....can you all stop talking for a while so i can catch up LOL LOL

Good Morning everyone.

Sorry to have been AWOL, but have had a rough few days - the I.V. line got infected so had to go and have it replaced. Made me pretty poorly for a day or two. Have a very stiff sore and painful arm, but it is getting better. The nurses who have put the new line in were marvellous, they were absolutely appalled at the allergic rection to the dressings, so we discussed it and have come up with a different way of doing the dressing. Will now have to see how this works out.

Hopy Rainy is doing o.k.
