Mine's Intarsia Notions.

It's boiling here both outside and in as the plumber has had to put the heat on.  It will be going off soon.  Hairdresser is coming in half an hour.  My hair needs a good trim.

One good thing about a hysterectomy is the less you have the less there is to worry about,

I had the works, womb, tubes, cervix etc & was really peed of to find that I wieghef exactly the same after. They must have wieghed something or did the replace them with bricks?

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Plumber went about an hour ago.  I am shattered and I've hardly done anything properly all day.  It's still very warm here.  We were threatened with heavy rain and thunder earlier on but neither has happened.  I wish that it would because it would clear the air hopefully.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Good evening to all - glad you're back home Stroppy.  I had the same this week - with potassium deficiency - so now more pills to take Woman Frustrated  Nix.

Good luck for Monday Twishy - you'll be grand I'm sure - all the doctors I see are so young - better to set your sights on a consultant - unless you're after a toyboy Woman Wink  How long do they keep you in for nowadays after the op??

I'd be 'intarsia masterpiece' but prefer sticky bobbins, lol.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

On that list, my mum would be paintbrush notions.  I often wonder who thinks these things up.

Glad to see you back RDW but sorry that you are now on more medication.

Sending cyber chocklit to Twishy in time for Monday.  Hope that everything goes well.

I'm also glad that you're back home Stroppy.

Hugs to all that need them.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Ooooh you'll be rattlin' Rainy .......

Apparently the usual stay for a 'slash and grab' is 4-5 days...but obviously that's for mere mortals and as I appear to be more of a Choklit-addicted-male-porn-star type bod I'll be home in a couple of hours smilie egyptian.gif

Hmmmm a toy boy sounds interesting....I had the older, distinguished one for 25 years-ish so one with hair will be a novelty smilie giggling.gif

I wonder why you don't loose weight when they 'take it all away' ?..... but I'm sure there'll be more room for Choklit smilie yes.gif

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Must admit that I've not eaten anywhere near as much chocklit lately.  Sends some over to Twishy - if she wants it.  Silly question I know.  I am trying to lose weight as it's my Goddaughter's wedding in a couple of months.  That should be fun seeing as Grace is going to be a flower girl.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Seriously though Twishy, you are bound to feel a bit fragile after the op and, although I do not like to criticise the NHS, the food in our hospital is not wonderful.  I lived on their sandwiches and soup, which were ok.  OH brought in home made sandwiches, fruit and biccies and the like, so make sure the family are well trained!!

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Well I have to say most people seem to knock hospital food but ours is rather nice ....... the kitchens & the menu's were give a huge make over by  the chef James Martin a couple of years ago & I would happily be an inpatient for a few days laughing-smiley-001[1].gif

Its soooooooooo hot here this evening ........ I think I'm melting Smiley Sad

I'm liking the idea of a wallpaper lampshade CB  Smiley Very Happy

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Speaking of hospital food - how would you fancy oven baked breaded fish with oven chips, and tinned peas - all re-heated in the microwave - that is one of the "better" items from our hospital menu.

The only thing I would order is cream crackers and cheese.

Twishy - make sure that your phone is charged, and take all the menus for the take-aways that will deliver.
