I still can't find out how to put the page with the last post first.  Honestly, this is doing my head in.  I'm trying to see what I'm doing on here, I've my mum talking away like mad and I'm trying to watch Let's Do Lunch as well as trying to get some knitting done.  Talk about multi tasking.

I'm off out for the day tomorrow.  We are going to Kendal in the Lake District. One of my cousins lives up there and he has emailed me to tell me that the Queen and Princess Anne will be there as well so I will be keeping very good company tomorrow won't I.

Twishy, I hope that you get your little fishy sorted soon.  I see you've got your giraffes back.

We 'should ' be able to tick 'go to last post read' in our preferences but it doesn't seem to be working at the moment. Well it's not for me anyway.

Well if it's there, working or not at the moment, it sounds promising for the future.  We'll get used to it in time, we did the last changes didn't we.  Some people didn't persevere with the old ones, but if I can eventually learn, any body can!!  I might even get an avatar soon!!

Hoorah I've managed to find you all. Have been quite bereft without my daily dose of FHG.

What I didn't manage to tell you all is that I'm not in the UK this week - am in Brazil. Don't get all excited it's not that glamorous. Am with OH at a university conference which is mostly in Portugese so we can't understand much. We're in a nice hotel but it's miles from anywhere and we are reliant on lifts but I've just discovered the pool area so things are looking up. It's winter here so temperature in the mid 20s - not as hot as in England. Haven't seen anyone in the pool yet - will probably only be mad English people that will go in as the Brazilians will think it is too cold.

These boards don't seem so frightening as I thought they were going to be. I'm sure we will soon get used to them. I really must sort out an avatar one of these days. Well better go and top up my tan!

Hi all,

Have been discharged from hossie - was discharged on Friday.

The outreach team are coming round and doing the dressings at home - they are absolutely brillinat.

I have to go to outpatients clinic every other week so that tissue viability and the consultant can argue about the progress of "the hole" and the way forward.

Am now busy trying to get my DLA and working tax credit back into normal payment and get carers allowance re-instated for "himself".

duck - think I've found a way to get the last post up first. .go to My Settings, then Preferences, then Linear Layout then click on Newest first. Seems to work.

I can't find how to put up an Avatar picture - can anyone tell me how to do it.

These boards use the eBay avatar in your ebay "my world", so you have to add it there.  Go to My Ebay, My World is bottom left in the list of links.  

As it's the one seen when you buy or sell on eBay you might have to be a bit careful what avatar you choose.

Glad you've been discharged from the hospital.  I am sorry but I appear to have missed a word out on an earlier post. Hope that you soon get sorted with your benefits.  Fingers crossed.
