Sunday roast?

We are having a small piece of brisket that I found in the freezer yesterday.
Slow roasted. So I can get on with the ironing. Roast or new potatoes, haven't decided yet. Roasted parsnips, carrots cauliflower and cabbage.

Re: Sunday roast?

Roast pork, apple sauce, roast spuds, yorkshire pud, carrot batons and peas with gravy. If I have any room left, tinned sliced peaches for pud.

"Himself" is cooking - I have sneaked out for a few hours.

Re: Sunday roast?

You be careful Stroppy.  We don't you doing yourself any harm do we?

We don't normally have a roast on a Sunday.  We normally have a small hotpot with mixed veg for lunch and salad for tea.

Re: Sunday roast?

We've been out again today so not been cooking; just snacking.  I'll probably microwave myself a couple of ready made cheese omelettes and some baked beans and sausages to go with them later to eat when the news is on TV ( 22.00 ).

Leg of lamb today, wish I could cut it into slices instead of chunks though.
