Yes, harvestmen - but I would love to know why they did that. Maybe there was something edible there - I've had harvestmen come in the back door and make a beeline for the cats' food.

I used to get the screaming heebie-jeebies whenever a totally harmless daddy-long-legs got into the room. Then at some point in my late teens, one got in and my mum happened to have some towels on a clothes horse in front of the fire. I grabbed a towel and wrapped it round my hair - and the fear stopped instantly - and never came back.
It would be interesting if you (or anybody else with a fear of spiders etc) tried the "hair-wrap" next time you see one of the little blighters. I've never understood what happened there, but if it worked for me it might work for others.

Not bothered about the spiders, get them all the time in the house, would make you jump though if you saw that lot.
Thought Bob looked cute though !

i like that video
spiders are allowed in my house and are allowed to stay as long as they stay out of my way.
i do not like them enought to pick them up and do not hate them enough to screem

I haven't really got a fear of spiders I just dont like them very much!!
I can often manage to trap them under a glass and put them outside although last time I wrote that a lurker sent me a terse message saying that was cruel
Those harvestmen ones are my most disliked as they were ever getting into your sleeping bag on camping trips and they run very fast as can be seen on that vid. Its just their little round bodies and spindly legs - eeeeugh. There are a couple of spiders in the flat but they are those ones that live in the corners of ceilings for decades and never move. They are weird - but they can stay.
At the moment I have a 'pet' lacewing in the flat. I am feeding him sugar water and he is quite lovely - he can stay.
Its unlike me not to spot a dishy bloke so I braved the spiders again to go and have a look at Bob

I have to pick them up quite often as the pesky dog loves to play with them and I can't stand cruelty, even though I know she is only acting naturally.
Not sure what I would do if it was a tarantula though,
